Is it just flat 50 percent damage to the skill itself or does each hit get that 50 percent damage?
this! thats why multi hit is better than fake multihit.
but actually both of your choice has the same result.
i.e multishot hit dmg is 1000 x10 hit.
case A (1000x10)+50%=15000
case B (1000+50%)x10=15000
Isn’t attribute a different modifier than skill modifier and multiplicative? So its
basedamage * %skillmodifier * %attributebonus. = final damage
So at attribute level 100 (50% more damage) with a 300% skill modifier and 100 base damage it does
100 * 3 * 1.5 = 450 damage
In that way it doesn’t matter whether its 50% more damage on a multi hit (10 hits * 300% * 150% = 4500% dmg) or a single hit (1 hit * 3000% * 150% = 4500% dmg)
Enhance Attribute directly increases the Skill Multiplier. And this turns out that it is irrelevant if it is a fake Multihit or a Real Multhit.
For exmaple:
Double Slash lvl 5 is 304% x2 = 604% total dmg.
Throw in lvl 100 Enhance Attribute (+50%)
Double Slash lvl 5 is now (304% x 1,5) x2 = 456% x2 = 912% total dmg.
Fake Multihits tend to have realy high Skill Factors which will get a very high return of Enhance Attribute, while Real Multihits tend to have lower Skill Factors.
So you’re telling me that my cataphract has some hope although it has low multipliers
Wrong. Attributes increase skill multiplier. If a single hit skill is %1000 and you get your attribute lvl 100 on that skill its multiplier gets %1500. If a multi hit skill with %80 x 10 damage has its attribute lvl 100, its damage becomes %120 x 10.
Both multihit and single hit skills get the same boost out of attribute and its %50 more damage at lvl 100.
