Quest won't complete if monsters kill themself

Date and Time : 4.12.2015

Game Control Mode: Keyboard

Where it happened: Namu Temple Ruins, quest: The Third Epitaph (could happen anywhere to be honest, in quests that require players to kill certain amount of monsters)

Bug Description :
If monsters kill themself, it won’t count for removing enemy by player.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Start quest that require you to kill few monsters (in this example quest it was 22 monsters)
  2. Use Flu Flu spell on weakened enemies (Scout spell)
  3. With a bit of luck monsters will attack eachother, and might kill one of their species
  4. If that happen, this KO’ed monster won’t count for quest making it impossible to finish the quest and forcing player to relog and start again

Screenshots:

This is seriously annoying in this quest because monsters (Lizardman magicians) are seriously sturdy and hit very hard. That being said on side note i belive some monsters need power rebalance. In this quest you have to kill 8 of those lizardman magicians in same time. I thought i would help myself by trying to confuse enemies but it only made things worse to me as i need to redo it.

I believe this quest is bugged and does NOT spawn 22 monsters, as I have repeated it Thrice and I wasn’t able to complete it.

Oh boy, one could think they made this quest to ensure we die from those lizardman magicians and won’t find out its impossible to complete.

I finished this quest recently, the last monster ran away somewhere when his hp was low but came back with around half health.

Hi guys. Thanks for this information. Even if the quest can be completed, it is inconvenient if a monster runs away. I’ll make sure that this is forwarded to the QA team for investigation.
