In this quest you must attach a device to the Stumpy Trees in Stele Road and kill them in orrder to take their sap, and you need 50 to finish it. That’s what the quest text says.
What the quest doesn’t mention is that by waiting after you place the device and watching the debuff, you can increase the incoming sap up to 10. I was wondering for a while if I was doing something wrong because getting 1-2 sap from every tree would take around 35 mobs to finish it, and the cooldown on the quest item only allows you to kill one every 10 or 15 seconds. I consider myself quite an observant person, but it took me 4 kills to notice the sap debuff and it’s counter, going up to 10.
I believe that should be something to be told in the quest text, because most players won’t notice it and will get pissed at how long this quest takes, not to mention how people will be endlessly fighting to get those trees when 15 people get stuck in that quest at the same time.
So, please, just say something like “the more you wait after placing the device, the more sap you will get.” or “watch the debuff to get more sap.”. Right now almost no one will get it, especially when they are rushing.
