It’s not a bug please go to your inventory then right click on item quest.
there is a mark show on map go and talk.

theres no reason to use the questitem if u cant talk to the chest…
the problem is not that we cant found the chest, we cant TALK to the chest
sucks hard 
some quest can talk with keyboard mode only
