[QUEST BUG REPORT]: "Eery Black Energy" (Area: Letas Stream)

Date and Time : May 01, 2016.

Game Control Mode (Keyboard/Joypad/Mouse) : Keyboard.

Where it happened (which map, which quest, which npc, etc) : As title says.

Bug Description :
When i get to all three spots of the fork on the mentioned quest and map, THERE IS NO SMOKE to remove. There is no possible interaction of any sort. Im stuck on it.

**I am also having the same problem with this quest.

Bug Description :
Went to the designated area where the quest description points at and there is no black smoke found on the said 3 locations. Hotkey for the Quest item is also not appearing. However, if you go to the place where the black smoke should appear, you can right click on the quest item icon beside the name of the quest and it will perform the action.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. When to the place designated by the quest description
  2. Found no black smoke on 3 locations
  3. Even when performing manually, quest does not count the action

That’s exactly the issue.

Hope some devoloper fix this.

Hello, I’m also encountering the same bug months after this initial report. Here’s a screenshot of the situation.

It was the third and last black smoke, but I couldn’t find anything there. I’ve also switched channels numerous times but to no avail. If you look closely at the screencap, a flag indicating the quest area can be seen on the map. But there is no black smoke visible on the game screen, which is supposed to be right above the head of my character.

I hope someone could help me out, because I could sure have good use for those exp cards.

To those who have had this bug how did you fix it? I tried pretty much everything, switch channels,keyboard,relog, manually use the item from my inventory, uninstall my addons. ( Can’t abandon the quest for some reason )

I fixed mine by abandoning the quest. But as you mentioned, you can’t abandon it? What does it say?

abandon the quest 1st,go to the location and get back the quest.done
