I cant finish this quest.
I am at the part at arshike altar.
It asks me to press spacebar.
But nothing happens.
please help, i’m waiting 24h 
At this point it might be lag.
I think I remember doing this quest and due to the server lagging, whenever you pressed space, you have to wait for a good 10~20 seconds before the server recognizes you activated the obelisk.
Yup, it’s a lag issue. Just hit spacebar, and sit there for like a minute.
Hm ok, i go try, but i think it is not lag ;\
I tried to do this but don’t work, I stay in front of altar for 5 minutes and nothing…

I have the same problem, been stuck here since the first day. I thought it was lag as well, but no such luck. I relogged, changed maps, and waited for a long time next to the obelisk.
If someone might be trying to fix the problem… I noticed I have 4 “White Oak Sap” and I thought i only needed 3 for the quest. Not sure if that could be an issue. (As a side note, I noticed that I have a lot of extra quest items.)
Also, I’m only level 37. I think I was 35 or 36 when I tried the first time.
EDIT: finally passed the quest! I got to level 40 and tried again. Not sure if there is a level requirement or it was just 3 days of server lag!
