I have been thinking about doing a DPS/Tank oriented Quarrel shooter but I’m a little out of information about how to do it ^_^"
So any tips, advices or ideas?
I made a Qs (currently lv 34)
here are some observations
I believe that doing dps with QS is very difficult because his skills are not designed to give dps (just obstacles and CC)
Caltrops does good damage, but have long cooldown (+ aggro effect against aggressive monsters)
And stone shot drain huge amonts of sp (but at high lv skill does great damage)(does blunt attack type)
I prefer to leave [stone shot] in lv 1 to push and stun only.
when you use the [stone shot] you will be immobilized until give the attack (they are acting strange, locking your character without attacking)
Deploy pavise can be useful and give knockback enemies

So DPS is not good for a QS… Well there are alot goood uses for it if I get a few good ranks on others. But… And your atributes? How didi you distribute it?

they have a very interesting attribute
a passive attribute that increases chance to block against long-distance attacks
and when that happens you get a buff that increases attack equivalent to defense shield is not I am wrong
increasing the damage is 50% x attribute lv (lv max 4)

They are anti-archer class

Erick summed it up pretty well. QS is definitely not made for AoE DPS. You’ll be relying on Multi-shot for the burst. Caltrops are okay for miscellaneous damage, Stone shot is amazing but the SP drain is terrifying. QS c2 is a bit better with Rapid Fire, but your main benefits are you counter the heck out of enemy archer/projectile units. I think even something like Archer c2 might do better than us because of the points in skills add up over time.
But damage isn’t everything, and QS is a LOT more durable than a Ranger or Archer c2. I chugged considerably less HP pots while mobbing as a QS compared to Ranger.

I roll QS but I use it for my offensive rogue build
QS its not a exclusive “tank” class, because you can fit QS in a AA build with Running Shot.
Qs suck until you hit Qs3 , Then try the scroll ascension, then go demolish everything you see.
