why are there so many ppl buying arde dagger?
and is it ok for barb to go golden falchion then arde dagger or should i use main gauche instead??im currently c2 swrod c2 barb going for c3 and doppel
Arde Dagger is broken, that’s why everyone is using it.
Main Gauche makes no sense since you can’t really profit from it because you won’t be attacking with your off hand. But Arde Dagger adds 153 Fire Damage to all attacks.
So if you are using a 1 Hand Weapon get Arde Dagger.

Nailed it i doubt these types of weapon bonus will go unnerfed in offhand slots. Everything off hand with these damage bonuses are likely to be reduced / removed/ or changed in some way to limit abuse.
Remember,
your crit atk buff from towhanded swords will be lost.
Lapis Katzbalger is so much better then arde+ golden.
When you have some crit atk gems in your equip and some crit rate too.
50% more of your crit atk … is huge.
If you got like 250 crit atk, that’s 125 crit atk bonus.
A whopping 1,25 atks more.
And if your skill is cleave…
It’s 3,25*3 when you hit an stunned enemy.
1000+around 300ish atk*10=13k atk before def, skill and size/ ele modifiers.
So yeah.
153 atk bonus isn’t gonna cut that 1,25 full atk bonus on crit…

Arde is good for any class that doesnt crit.
Mostly Mage class.
fire dps gets added to the normal fire ticks of flame ground.
Flame echant+arde+some int= falme ground op q.q!
He didn’t take Highlander so he can’t use 2 handed swords.
I thought barb had the 2 handed attribute aswell
Oh whoops my bad. But he doesn’t have the crit atk buff.
Ohh … sucks then.
Any % based buff that you can take to other classes is worth so much.
Then arde +golden is actually nice.
Even at later classes, you could just switch out weapons when you do certain things.

There’s nearly no class that has an circle 1 buff as mighty as highlander… sadly it’s bound to th2 weapons. Would be to op otherwise xD.

I had some krivis help me with a test.
200 crit atk from str, 50 from natural, 150 from lapis+120 from gems+ 280 from zaciali or how it’s called +50% of that …
1200 crit atk i had … glorious moments. But sadly no targets to hit q.q.
hopefully they dont bottle cap crit atk xD.
There’S th2 weapons out there … with so much crit atk.
I might marry the first krivis player i can chain to me …
yah didnt go HL so was just experimenting 1h and arde. well on my next char maybe ill go HL 1 for that 2h crit buff.
