  1. We noticed the companion UI includes equipment slots. Does this mean our companions are getting their own equipment someday?

We’re reviewing different options for companion equipment at the moment. One option would be to have specific items that would alter the physical appearance of your companion when equipped. Another option would be to have the player equip their own items on their companion, similarly to when they are applied to your characters. We will keep actively considering these possibilities for a future update.

So it begins, spirit fox mounts.

Hahaha. I like to think IMC just didn’t word it properly when they intend to mean that we can have our companions carry stuff like pots which usually weighs a lot so we can stay longer in the field especially when grinding. I wish though that squires can sell repair kits/scrolls as well.

I don’t understand why IMC think so hard on companion equipment slot. Why not both?:expressionless:

IMC can just add one more slot row for appearance items and equipment items respectively

It’d be neat though if you could give your pet, for instance Arde, and gave it bonus damage on it’s attack. Or maybe something that procs on there.

This change would give Hunters some interesting setup and maybe even SRs/Catas/Lancers just a little more complexity. Though Pets still lose stamina incredibly fast.

Yeah, they really need to improve the pet’s survivality and AI, unless it’s really meant that way. Sure, as most would say hunters are somewhat OP 1v1 but in group PvP, AOEs/CCs and all the stuff laying around that the pet may unintentionally target completely shuts the whole hunter class down for the duration or when the pet’s just permastunned.

I like the idea of equip bonuses affecting mounted classes though, but a lot of people playing non-mounted classes will probably complain about it and call it OP. XD

I’m not in favor with the equipment not unless they provide a different item i.e pet equip that boosts damage by 5%, increases ms speed, attack speed, something similar to the current card system but different in nature. But eitherways I just want a spirit fox. :< QQ

Wolf mount!!! Even wolf pup will do (since TOS prefers cute stuff anyways).
