Pyro - Linker - Alchemist

Hey guys and gals.

So, I’m a Wiz/Pyro who wants to be an Alchemist. But I’m having a hard time finding a decent synergy with other classes so I can safely farm without having to rely too much on a party. Pyscho isn’t great with Pyro because I don’t have the CC Cryo has. getting only 2 levels of Elementalist would leave me without some key skills. So I was reading about Pyro+Linker being a good combination.

Please tell me what you think, and feel free to suggest anything. If you all could comment on the skill distribution, I’d really appreciate it, because I’m also not too sure about them.

I’m aiming for pretty much the same build, so far I’m level 85 pyro2 link1, link1 is pretty underwhelming with only 4 chained ennemies though I know it will get better with 8 links, linked fireball and hangman’s knot kills everything but you need the time to set it up wether enemies are chasing you or people ability to kill them before you since the link drastically speeds up the killing.
It is mostly efficient in a party or in an empty spot, I suggest you picking elementalist2 to make up for pyro cooldowns.

Getting Elementalist 2 instead of Linker 2? I thought about it, but I’ll end up Without Rain or Frost Cloud, not to mention the lack of synergy between Ele and the otehr classes. Would it really be worth it?

Oh yeah, by the way, what stats would you guys recommend? Because apparently there’s no agreement on those, some people tell me to lvl INT and INT only, other say to lvl CON/INT/SPR by 1/3/1, others say CON is useless. It’s hard to make a decision with that much disagreement.

So far im Pyro rank 2. I was planing on doing Pyro 3 then elementalist all the way, but it came to my interest the Linker possibility.

It is nice that you can Knot enemies to the fireball and kill all, but im worried that it might get sp intensive. And i wonder if it is really that necessary, because so far, i just trow my skills on the ground, agro the monsters, and they kill themselves. No need for linking.

As far as i know, bosses cant be pulled, so its kinda useless there.

For PVP, its AMAZING! but we are in the beta, so i think PVM is the priority.

I dont know… can someone tell if linker is really better than pyro for rank 4?

About the stats, im doing INT/CON/SPR. trying to do 2/1/1.
