[PvP] Tank + CC AOE

Hi guys,

Can anyone help me with my build?
My goal: PVP/GVG (w/ decent damage for pve) + Tank + CC AOE

Build: I’ll use the build from Aykyoh.

Questions:

  1. Can I use block (pressing C) while riding mount?

  2. I’ll use the Peltasta for boost HP (+25%) and AOE CC from Umbo Blow. What you guys prefer: that build (with Peltasta enable block, C button, usefull in PVP and PVE) or Swordman C3 to get Restrain 40% chance and max Pain Barrier?

  3. The skill Restrain work with AOE skills? I mean, can I stun all players using aoe skills or just one (target) player will be stunned?

  4. For the last, about status. What’s better: 1:1 STR/CON or 1:1:1 STR/CON/DEX? Or other…

Yes you can, but without Hoplite in your build you can’t use 1H Spear + Shield until you are a Dragoon.

Peltasta is much better for PvE, while Swordsman C3 could be better for PvP but not necessarily.

Although it could be used with some skills due to a bug, but it should be fixed soon if it hasn’t already.

Well, you want to be a tank. So probably the second one or a 2 STR : 1 DEX : 1 CON type of ratio.

Thanks for your reply, Cathexis.
After reading about the ranks of swordman skills, rank 1, PD is a hard counter to us. Nvm sword c3 is useless with PD in other side.
Can you share some build, with great control (knock down haven’t rank, can’t be immune, excpet passive swords c1), as I have in mind?
I’ve been thinking: sword > peltasta > hoplite > cata c3 > dragoon.
This can work?
And why 1:1:1 con/dex/str is better? I mean, is str usefull to be tank? Is dex not better to do dmg and tank?
