PvP Ideas (Swash Buckling PvP rework + PvP maps)

So obviously Swash Buckling can’t work in PvP in the same way it does in PvE.
Here’s the idea how it could work in PvP:

  1. Give Swash Buckling casting time between 1 sec and 1.5 sec. Make the casting animation slower (and/or make the model hit his shield one more time) so opponents can avoid getting taunted.

  2. Reduce taunt duration down to between 1 sec and 2 sec (enough to have impact on the combat bot nothing overpowered; give your team members a second to retreat and get healed and/or interrupt enemy channeling).

  3. Reduce the AoE range of Swash Buckling. Here’s the video of Swash Buckling. For starters I’d say the range should be 1 and a half of the space between character’s legs around character starting at his legs… I wrote this complicated xD Ok, it would be 2 leg gaps around character starting in the center of the model.

  4. What about Swash Buckling CD? I don’t know how much is too much, PvP round lasts between les then 1 min up to 3 min? Maybe increase the CD to 30 sec.

  5. What about Swash Buckling effect? Here’s a tough one. I don’t think you can just make opponents auto attack you for the duration period (even there would be some problems). I think the opponents that got cought up in Taunt should be forced to face the taunting character (and follow him?). They would be allowed to basic attack and use some offensive (and physical?) skills against him. If you allow skill usage while taunted allies of taunting character would need to get away from him or risk getting hit by taunted opponents AoE. Also, if you allow to use skills that require targeting the only area they could target should be the one taunting character is standing on. All of this seems hard to program (the forcing to face the taunting character seems to be most complicated, but i thin if it is done right other things would be easier).

Also, new PvP maps, with obstacles, the ones you can jump over and the high ones. Maybe a labirinth kind of map or a map with impassable wall in the middle (so it looks almost like map has two lanes.

Man, Peltasta is a class made to be PvE. If you add PvP features it will be broken and the other circles will be considered “useless”. It will break the point of the game.
