i only saw 5v5 in the beta … are they only planning on having 5v5 arenas ? is there no 2v2 or 3v3 ? because personally i dont like 5v5’s because it feels too messy … 3v3 or 2v2 would look better and play better in my opinion., btw i’m talking about arenas only

and what about dueling 1v1 ? is it in the beta or are they planning to add it in the future ? and can you duel anywhere or only in arenas ? they don’t have to balance 1v1 i know its hard to balance … but its fun to have anyways and easy to implement.

When I checked the pvp button (the sword next to mini-map), there were only options for Team and Party PVP. I’m not sure if there’s any other way to queue into PVP.

1v1 is an aberration… How can you balance 80 classes… I’m fine with 3v3, 5v5 is the coolest imo, I will participate only to this mode, since it will be the better way to find Bugs for players interacting.

even if thats true why not have 2v2 ? they already have 5v5 why would 2v2 be hard to implement?

if they don’t want to balance it that’s fine … but they should have the feature even if its unbalanced. … if something is unbalanced doesn’t mean it has to be removed from the game … just add it for fun or testing stuff out.

5v5 in general feels too messy … 3v3 and 2v2 would look and play better

Who knows how reliable it is, but I heard this info was leaked 1v1 3v3 5v5 and Guild vs Guild may be added later.

yeah i heard that too , but what i’m trying to say is that if they’re going to get into the trouble of balancing 5v5 then 3v3 and 2v2 would be a peace of cake because 5v5 is way more complicated than 3v3 and 2v2 … but 1v1 is a different story so i think 1v1 should be for fun because balancing it would be impossible. but that doesn’t mean it can’t be in the game.

Well, since PVP was just added into this phase I’m sure they’ll add more modes…

I really hope theres some kind of open world pvp option down the line…

I say just make a PvP room and let people free for all. All this queuing up is crap. You could let people practice to their hearts content and have people sit back, watch, learn and exchange ideas. If people want to duel, then let them duel. If wars between guilds break out, that is always fun as well.

From what I gather, it sounds restricted as hell as it is right now to the point of carebearing. Let’s just wait to see if they are lenient with the trash talking because RO wasn’t RO without the drama and popcorn.

why not have both ? i mean i like pvp rooms … i would love to see them add it … it doesn’t look hard to implement , however i think it was fun in ro because you were able to solo 5 alone … i don’t think its possible here especially if all the people against you understand how the game works… but nonetheless i would love to see pvp rooms added where even low levels can face high level players.

1vs1 without any reward or so can be there just for fun, for people testing their characters with each other and stuffs.

exactly … cuz it would be impossible to balance … people need to understand this.
