PvE DPS/Solo Viability?

Hey was researching a lot but wanted to check a few things to make sure I fully understand them:

I am wanting to make a cleric that can solo well and do great dmg (I don’t want it to take forever to kill things and able to farm silver later pretty well). In a thread someone linked this build. Would this actually be good for solo/dps in pve?

I’ve never leveled a cleric before so I just want to get all my ducks in a row before moving forward. I do have a lvl 255 Dopple atm that can farm some gear for my cleric initially if need be.

It’s great for PvE!

Do note though, the quest for Miko is really tiring (near impossible for some).

Go for it. But before, go drop your self a Five Hammer and plug 5 red gems inside it, It carries you all the way to 330. Also having cafrisun set early would speed things up coupled with sacrament/blessing bought from priests. Also enchanted head gears speed early levels by a lot but they are expensive. Don’t forget getting agny necklace before becoming plague doc. It boosts incineration damage by a good amount.

Your build is both great at pvp and pve so you wont face any problems except grinding before getting plague doc. Quest carry you to 200+ anyways. Miko quest, as said, is annoying but you can do it. Miko is worth it.

Well the good news is: I already have a 5 hammer, agny necklace and 3 cafrisun sets. :smile: Sounds great I’ll give it a go then!

this build is literally absurd, you will be playing in god mode

I have taken 2 archers to 330, 2 other archers to 280
1 swordsman to 280
1 wizard to 280

I started making this saintone pd about 2 weeks ago, its lv227 atm and its just stupid how strong it is, I heal every mission or instance and am still 1st in dps by a landslide everytime, I can solo my siaulai missions blindfolded, any world boss I can just setup my owls, and with clap I can get 10 or more going at once in a circle, I jus stand there and watch while clapping every so often

hands down the strongest build atm, its why people bitc* so much about pvp, 9/10 of every top 10 is this and c2/diev3/miko/kab/inq

My main character follows this build and I can tell it’s very good for both pvp and pve. Miko is the best choice to pull off diev’s full potential. Agny makes Incineration + black death steam combo become godlike.
I can almost carry the whole party through ET 5f, uphill, 290 dungeon and fantasy library… but your pre-doctor phase will be a bit hard due to the lack of mobility. Yet no worries, it will pass very fast.
A notable thing : despite this build is ridiculously strong, you need huge investment to be able to solo well at a few 300+ maps. Mobs have very high mdef and a lot of them have poison property. My main is using a stage 4 windia rod and all attributes are above 70 yet I find it still not enough. Overall your build is good, very good and strong as of now. Worth your try anw ;). Good luck.
