Newbie here… Im planning to make Swordsman1>Peltasta1>Hoplite2>Corsair2>??
But im still confused, what’s the stat build for this class. Full Str or 2:1 Str/dex also, what class should i go when i get rank 7?
If you go Pelty, you should invest in some Con. Swash may give you more HP, but in neutral or when getting gunned down by magic mobs, you’ll need something more to keep you alive.
3:1:2 if you want to be more glassy or 3:2:1 if you want be more beefy. I personally go the latter because Finestra is bae. Since Hop2 gives you +100 Crit Rate practically always up, you can skimp out on Dex after a certain point (I’d guess somewhere in the 70~90 range), and just go mainly STR while still building Con.
Dragoon may be the best investment at Rank 7, since it synergizes with Hop very well, while not disrupting Corsair too much and giving you more damage skills while Stabbing, Pierce, Dust, and Hexen are on cooldown. I suppose in theory however that you could also go Doppel, but if you decide to go 2H sword, Long Stride and Spear Lunge are essentially pointless, plus you lose Finestra. You should be able to use spear skills with C1’s skills, but Doppel C2 would be somewhat wasted potential wise.
This is just my opinion though.

Solid build and I shadow most of what @chillcross has said.
To add onto that, I would look to build up to around 25k hp min when moving into the 210+ range, this gives you a good amount of surviability, especially as you will most likely be tanking in 200+ grindspots.
As for R7 you can build into a Shinobi or Dragoon. Personally I would recommend Dragoon as Shinobi is a gamble based on how it will change in future patches due to being a new class. It’s also fairly restricted in flexibility when compared to a Dragoon.
