I see a lot of Swordie 3 Cata 3 builds and was wondering if this was also the best for PvE as well or if some combination of Pelt and Hop would be better. I’m also not necessarily against going all 3 circles of Cata if it might be a better PvE build, although, I remember 100% uptime on Trot and Rush being really good. I’m open to both tank and offensive builds, but ultimately, I’m tired of being the slowest piece of meat ever :3 That is to say, I’m mostly in this for the movement speed.
They take Cata 3 is for lancer, and lancer is very bad at pve at the moment
Go Hackapell its better for pve i think.
And its a fast mounted cls too.
S1 Pel2 Cata3 Goon3 right now, but when R10 hits you’re sort of caught in a dead end. Might be best to go a non-Peltasta Route and pick Lancer1 at rank 10. Who knows, Lancer3 with Gigante Marcha might actually be better or equally as good as Goon3 in PVE.

if you do not have problem with 2handed spear, go with lancer-pve build is still very strong, it have low amount of skills with good damage outside of his own, but overall is good.
but if you like me likes one hand +shield; go for pelta2 cata 3 dragon 3; i had this in the past before i was pelta 1 hop1 cata 3 dragon and is really good, in the last reset i changed back pelta 1 hop1 cata3 dragon3, and is good as well, but i believe the pelta 2 is better right now, even more after the pelta buffs we had so far.
the reason i changed for pelta 1 hop1 cta3dragon 3 is that i did not know when we would have another sreset, so i changed back to hop so i could take hop 2 and spear lunge.
but overall i must mention to you that this is not strong enough damage wise against the standard 2 handed build , since it lacks spear lunge and the damage from 2 handed spear, but i still believe that once i reach spear lunge with rank 10, i may close this gap by lot and a little more info pelta 1 +trot with guardian 30 sec is enough for tanking even more since hoplite gives finestra gives extra block as well so you can follow the pelta hop if you want more damage overall; or pelta 2 if you want to cause damage with high guard + pelta skills (it really hit’s well in those 30sec when high guard is up) is up to you.
