I know swordsman are considered 2nd tier when it comes to dps but I was hoping that some time in the future that they will buff the swordsman class. I know I will get outclassed by archers and wizards but the swordsman classes are the only ones that I know I would enjoy.
So my question is, what would be a pure dps pve 2 handed swordsman build ? Classes and stat distribution if possible.
I already have a group of people to play with so finding a party wont be any trouble.
If you are 100% sure that you will never take peltasta and will never regret it,
Highlander/Sword2 > Barb x3 > Doppel x2
Highlander x3 > ??(Corsair for JR/hook, Pelt for taunt but you need to switch, Sword 2) > Doppel x2
These are the common paths, though something like
Barb at only 1 circle sucks currently, unless kTOS buffs gets applied, which then you can fill up Barb for #2 instead of corsair, pelt or sword 2

but you can use this instead:
Helm chopper is only used for stunning because with that you already have cartar stroke, a powerful strike tool even at low levels.
Wagon wheel can be useful so have it at least on Lv1, Max Warcry because at Barb 3 with all Warcry attributes it’s a very huge boost. Pouncing can be useful to drag mobs as you walk(keep in mind without pelt taunt you can’t drag too many).
For stats that’s completely up to you, but it is important to have 50-100 con. Dex:Str could be 1:1, or 2:1.
or for a high str version
Dex:Str 1:2, but you need good gear to have enough crit rate
You can get away with no con, but I suggest getting it to support your DOV

it’s not that bad, you just get the highlights of both worlds but in a much lower scale.
like you get cross cut+skyliner and cross guard(HL1) from HL 2
seism, warcry and maybe frenzy(not that good on barb2) on barb 2
