I bought a couple material items for completing Collections with the intention of reselling them for a higher price. Upon attempting to sell it on the marketplace, it wouldn’t let me. I looked at the tooltip and I think it said Untradeable. Is it true that purchased materials on the Marketplace become bound to our characters and cannot be re-sold (like weapons/gear)?
True — materials can only be traded once.
Thats always been the case. You can think of it as every non-equipment item (consumables, materials etc.) has only 1 potential.
Well, the more you know haha. Serves me right for trying to make a profit lol.
