PSA: Undertale (Get it)

Today I met someone on these forums who hadn’t played or heard of Undertale. Now I’m filled with determination.

So as a PSA: If you haven’t heard of Undertale. Go buy it immediately and play it. Non-negotiable. Do it. No excuses. You’re gonna have a good time. I promise.

Now if you’re a graphics snob, put the snobbery aside. This is a legit amazing game. I was skeptical too, it wasn’t in 3d or in 1080p. Doesn’t matter. This game will make you feel.

EDIT: Try to avoid scrolling down this thread too far… already seeing spoilers. Don’t ruin the experience for yourself.

Since the gameplay isn’t for everyone ( gasp! ), i recommend the excellent blind let’s play by cryaotic:

But really, give the demo a try first. If that still doesn’t work then yeah I guess you can watch someone else. It’s really not nearly as impactful though.

Cry’s reactions do make it more “impactful”, though.

Disagree, but that’s what opinions are for.

As long as people experience Undertale I should be satisfied enough I suppose.

EDIT: Undertale is very much a game about choice. How can it be more impactful if you aren’t even the one making the choices?

Because cry’s reactions are excellent.

There actually is another very special mmo that everyone should try out…

I’m literally hearing this for 2 days straight now:
Great Song but Big Spoiler

And yes, Undertale is one of those rare games, where u can legit say, that if someone didn’t feel anything while playing it, has no feelings at all.
I wont go into furtehr detail as i dont want to spoil the game for anyone,
BUT it will leave you laughing, shivering, crying at times and leave you in awe at its intricacies.

If you like let’s player reaction to games i suggest you check out this guy, best reactions ever in horron games, ever xD

My set of let’s players is pretty much full. There is only so much time i can invest.

Thoughts on Undertale's community.

For me, a big problem with the game is that everyone expects you to do a pacifist or genocide route instead of playing how you want to.

Same thing here.
I suggested this game to a friend without much explanation other than telling him not to spoil any details of the game for himself only for other friends of his telling him that he was “playing it wrong” and “corrected” him. He still enjoyed the game but really it does spoil the fun and intended experience of the game a little if you don’t allow a person to experience it themselves.

This is pretty spoilerific… I did put up a disclaimer in my opening post… but still… to talk about this in a thread where I’m recommending the game for people who have never heard of it…

The advertisement for the game is literally “The RPG game where you don’t have to destroy anyone.” so I’m not so sure its much of a spoiler.

Sorry, I didn’t think it would be a spoiler to say that. I edited the post.

Many thanks! Lumlotus was probably right that it wasn’t a huge spoiler, but I guess I like to go with better safe than sorry.
