Changing Classes to Cataphract will give you a free companion ticket. Don’t buy a companion before getting to Cataphract.

Yes the companion is mountable.
Note that this applies to all classes with Companion Skills such as: Falconers, Hunters etc.
I already got my mount from that class then stopped playing it 
Also do you mean i can get a free hawk if i get falconeer?
but i could probably farm up 500k before i reach that rank.
