Fencer is one of the Best Well executed High Skillcap classes, thanks to many skill combos, but there’s one skill with a lot of potential that could have been better executed:
Flannconnade.
The possibility of Blocking everything with Perfect play is amazing, but the fencer class supports Evasion a lot through 2 of it’s skills.
This leads to most fencers going for Dex builds, which make the blocking from good Flannconnade a bit Irrelevant, since the risk of failing the block makes it generally safer to just spam the skill and hope to dodge a lot, trying to kill monsters ASAP, leading to less HP drop,
I feel like this could be avoided by giving Flanconnade blocks more Value, for example, A simple fencer attribute that would make "targets Staggered by Flanconnade " return 30~40 SP when (basic) Attacked could already incentivize players to properly time their Flanconnade and normal attack the rest of the time, since sp “free” blocks could be very attractive.
Another possibility would be an attribute that could give fencers a 5 second “2x speed cooldown reducing” (each second would reduce your cooldowns by 2 seconds, instead of 1) upon normal attacking a monster sttagered by “Flanconnade” to reward proper timing with more skill rotations, thus, higher DPS than simply mindlessly spamming the skill(though this could make fencers even more SP intensive than they currently are, so maybe combine this attribute with the one suggested before?"
Also, I think these “buffs” could apply whenever you dodged enemy attacks during “Flanconnade” Block time, so that skillful Flanconnade use wouldn’t be hurt by dodging enemy attacks.
The way Both Attaque Composee and Flanconnade are basically used as the same skill right now, just that 1 is pierce and the other is Slash is kinda sad.
