Problems to get ToS started

Yesterday I downloaded ToS and then I started the launcher and nothing is happening. I see in the lower left corner a percentage (0%), but it is cut off, so I just see half of it. This is not changing, too. What can I do to get the game running.

So far I tried to start the game by clicking the icon on my desktop and by starting it via Steam.

I am using Windows 10.

Please, can someone help me.

If you just downloaded it, wait it till it patch up, beside updates from Steam, the game itself use a patcher to update after.

If you want to see what is going on, go into the game folder (Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release\patch) and open the file main.bmp, can be on mspaint to keep it simple, then click in resize button, make sure it is ticked percentage instead of pixels, add 120 as value, it should modify both height and width, save and open the game again, you might be able to see the process in the patcher.

Thanks for the reply, but the problem is that the game does not patch, it stays at 0%. This with the resizing I will try.

I found now a way in steam to check for defect files in the games and it seems as the download was not working correct. 10 files need to reloaded. This it is doing now and I really hope that this solves the problem.

Just wanted to tell you that the repairing via Steam did the job. Afterwards it started to patch and then I could play… nice game ^^
