Pro Tip for Archers for Faster Attack Speed | Easy Animation Canceling

I have to confirm. Cancelling affected melee attacks and I heard wizards too. Archers are unaffected. It’s kinda weird, really.

a faster way of using arrows with your keys instead of mouse is repeatedly pressing z.

Why Archer atack speed in ktos is very faster???

Because in Korea internet there is super fast combined with a smaller country means way less distance to report to the servers. Their super low ping is what allows them to attack so fast

Damn I think I am in for some trouble. The YouTube clip of the data collection testing is so responsive and smooth.
My qs3 attacks are like slow motion mud slinging.

I press the auto button and either the bolt comes out after the “reload” animation where the crossbow is lower towards the hips and offhand or I click and the sprite goes through the firing motion but no bolt comes out/no damage done. Broken s*** game. Went for a fast autoattack speed build and doesn’t even work. I guess I should not be surprised that it takes 2-3 seconds to throw the caltrops or do other skills, the sprite stands still like an idiot in the middle of battle.

Is the only solution to pay to fix the ping for imc’s server with things like Mudfish or WTFast?

When people ask for performance improvements does that include fixing ping problems?

Does imc know ping can be a problem for some of the players?

  1. Type //ping on chat box and press Enter
  2. Do it several times
  3. You will see your ping range to ToS

If your ping is above 0.5s consistently, you are screwed bad going auto attack build… thanks to IMC’s bad coding. Mudfish and Wtffast will only slightly reduce your ping to the server; roughly 0.05 to 0.2s reduction at average.

I checked it and my ping was .8 yesterday. I didn’t check constantly but during that play session several times I would press a skill, like running shot, my character would stand still with his mouth open fist raised in the middle of combat for a few seconds. When I regain control the skill has not gone off and I have to try again. It must really look bad to the other party members when that is happening or when there is rubberbanding.

I have experience with 250 content and I am worried that my fragile archer will constantly become unresponsive and take a few waves of attacks and be dead. If that is the case the game which is already fustrating due to ping/lag/latency/server disconnects, will become completely unplayable and I will have to forcibly quit tos.

I wonder how common of reason this is for quitting the game? For a logical person it seems to be a no contest decision. If the game is unplayable/not working don’t play. Does imc even know this can be a problem? I guess maybe not? At some point the only players left are those with ok ping, it will be a reduced player base but as players and weeded out there will naturally be less people angry. This process must have already occurred given the known cutback of players.

Edit: wow thanks for the //ping command, I don’t know what I can do to not let this destroy my ability to stay with tos. At its worse today in combat solo I was getting 1.267700 and once in channel 3 of a town I got 5.92714 then shortly was dumped from the server.

I dont think atack speed in ktos is very better only because ping…
we already have better atack speed than today in mouse mode, but imc “fix” or “destroy” it.
its NOT only because ping.

FYI, you can add “//ping” to your macro (F8).
