Since guilds are basically for PvP due to the Templar class. Why not allow us to create private chat channels kind of like the Linkshell system in FFXIV? It would help players find social outlets IN the game rather than having to join someone’s Discord which I really don’t want to do.
It shouldn’t cause any issues with RMT either. It will just be a means for players to join private chat channels to increase the socializing in this game and go further in aiding people in finding people to party with for end game content.
You’d run into basic issues like circle jerking or power tripping but it’s a trade off I’m willing to accept.
Of course the chat filter has to be removed or fixed so it isn’t deleting people’s text… as it stands it literally isn’t worth talking to anyone in the game because of this.
