F2P mmos have basically 3 types of players.
The purebreed f2p -> Has absolutely no intention to ever spend a single cent in the game.
The average f2p -> Regularly buys whatever ViP is offered / spends some money here and there in the cash shop,
The whale -> Spends an enourmous amount of money in the cash shop either because he has the disposable income or because he wants to gain an advantage on the game. (p2w options suporter)
As it is now (with so many limitations and this ridiculous token price) ToS is on the way to completely alienate the second group of people, leaving the game with a majority of people who wont spend any money and a group of players who will spend A LOT (It’s been studied that half of the monthly revenue of some f2p games comes from a 0.15% of their playerbase. Yes, 0.15%, not 15%).
With this scenario what do you thing that will happen to the game? The majority of the income would come from people who support P2W items so more and more of those items will be implemented.
IMC needs to lower the token price to keep that middle ground player interested in the game and lift the restrictions it has put in place for token users. I’m not talking about free trades for everyone, but at least let the people who paid the ViP trade as much as they want, not just 30 times a month.
