[Priest] Utilizing Blessing

Making a Blessing specific thread since a lot of people think that the low hit count makes Blessing worthless.

Sacrament adds ~+30 to my normal attack as well as adding an additional 50 holy damage. Blessing has to be pumped up a ton with attributes, but it’s still okay. Also, the buff from sacrament benefits from blessing AND physical weaknesses like slash and you can stack enchant fire and sacrament for 3 hits that all benefit from blessing while only using 1 hit per attack. I tested with a pyro earlier today and I was hitting 400 + 250 + 250 on monsters weak to slash.

Adding on to what @kiaismaiwaifu noted, I did some tests on Blessing as well. I used level 1 Blessing with Blessing: Additional buff attribute at level 3, giving it a total of 4 hits.

As you can see from the video, here’s the breakdown of my 4 hits:

1. Five tiles of Heal
2. Another 5 tiles of Heal
3. Aspersion hitting 4 enemies
4. Basic attack with Sacrament hitting 2 enemies.

Not in the video, but I tested Blessing with Cure and it shows that each tick of Cure counts as 1 hit which makes it rather weak to pair up with. You’re better off pairing Blessing with Sacrament since the normal attack plus the bonus holy attack counts as 1 hit together, even though both damage sources benefit from Blessing.

In short, it seems that Blessing is best used for AoEs, and of course in parties since it affects party members as well.
