Pressing 'Z' Key as botting

But if you set up a shop you earn money by sleeping.

You got a point, but at least isn’t farming a boss.

Well, you earned the goods you try to sell

i hope they go to my squire for repairs after dying so much

Place your squire on Miner’s Village then.

Bullshit. Wiz 3 here. I’ve never had to farm the big red kepa. Not even once.

Well, it’s easier plugging a controller and holding X while watching a movie.

It doesn’t change the fact that it’s much easier to survive early game after farming big red kepa. AFK or not.

You guys are funny. Any feature available in game is legal until IMC announced it’s a bug/abuse and disallow you guys to use it.

AFK farming is only unethical to alot people (even that is debatable, what you think is right isn’t always right), but isn’t violating any rule. There is no guideline on what is intended by the developer, thus no abuse is happening.

I do not mind having to press any key to collect the loot. Something like having to approach the item on the floor and then press any button for 1 second to collect it.

Automatic magnetic loot that is currently used, facilitates that too.

Without saying that automatic attack without penalty also facilitates. The character can attack forever, but it only tired when runs, you should get tired to attack for a long time as well.

Maybe you should think about removing press Z to attack forever, but have to press several times for attack. And if you got too tiring (for archers is not because Oblique Shot skill work that way) could enable a combo system where when you press the Z key, the character would perform a series of 3 or 4 auto attacks and then stop attacking , having to again press the Z key to continue with auto attacks. That is, if the player wanted to frantically press the Z key, all right, but could not attack forever pressing only one time the key Z.

Anyway, there are many ways to prevent AFK players benefit as online players. All it takes is putting into practice good ideas and create rules for it.

Sorry for my bad InglĂȘs. Maybe this is very confusing.

What do you think, shall we all make up our own rules of morality and fairness? giggle

Seriously: It’s a mechanic that has been built into this game this way, so yes, untill it’s forbidden and the autoattack mechanics are removed, ppl will keep doing it. And I see no reason not to do so, we all do have limited playtime and want to min/max, that’s why we are playing rpg grinders after all, right?

If you think it’s morally not okay, then stop doing so, but you can only hold other ppl responsible if there are clear rules for stuff like this.

Real life works like this, too; Facebook doesn’t pay tax in europe and dogs lick their balls because either of them can do so

I remember in Granado Espada you could AFK Level because of Auto Attacking

But if I remember correctly
there were measures in place to prevent this from being exploited

I think it was the random barrels that would spawn enemies or was it that sometimes some enemies can knock down your character cancelling Auto Attack Mode

Anyway, I think the Grim Reaper is a good measure

This will most certainly not be allowed after launch. Either way, as of now you can slam them to death with psychokynesis in a duel or use monster orbs.
