im playing as a mage and i find myself spamming pots alot x.x Mages seem to have sp problems, which is a bit strange… but maybe because i’m only around level 25?
With how valuable pots are I am reallllly wanting to make an alchemist~
well im a highlander now xD and i find that i really need red and blue pots bec in boss battles im always having a insuffcient in sp haha
As an archer I go through SP pots really fast if I use skills. However, my char is built around the use of autoattacks in Kneel Stance, so I don’t use SP normally.
This pretty much. Heal is insane MP to HP conversion and makes HP pots obsolete buy mostly MP and maybe 1 or 2 HP ones for the OH ■■■■ moments.
Playing as Swordsman (Planning to be a Pirate!! ARRRR!!). atm, in lower level, you can grind without using any pots. lure mobs and normal attack (Yes! Swordsman have AoE normal attack). The only thing you need is Mana for Gung Ho Buffs. But not really needed imo if grinding with party. normal attack will do.
Created Wiz and I will say it’s really needed the Mana and HP pots. Especially at the boss fight.
Tips for money to buys pots: Find a party who are farming gears on the giant onion semi boss, it will spawn 2-3x/minute. it always drop gear/scroll. sell them and boom! MONEY!! buy pots and repeat! You have exp and money!
If you’re playing a Wizard class… Blue pots are everything. I find myself throwing all of the money I earn from drops on the SP potions just so I don’t have to go long periods of time using my Z-Attack when I’m out :<
AFAIK, all melee attacks are AoE whatever the class
Im spamming pots on cool down most the time to keep my SP up, and as a highlander im always out of SP, but i can also 2 shot the mobs around level 25-30 so i guess its worth…
Even as a highlander i second this… most of my income goes on SP potions. The mobs die fast enough that i dont depend so much on HP.
ohhh. sorry, i still didnt tried cleric so i didnt know if they have aoe normal attack.
But yeah, as you said, swordsman/any melee have normal aoe attack.

I’m actually on a 2SPR : 1INT build for Thaumaturge so that I have more SP to use buffs with… And let me tell you a thing, the SP regeneration from standby/resting just doesn’t cut it when you’re in the middle of a fight
After found out the campfire feature, I don’t use pots much
High SPR stat and extra mana recovery from campfire let my wizard breathe easier. Firewoods are cheap and campfire can stay in a long time.
I mostly use pots in boss fights
actually I added SPR because i thought it would help, but i didn’t feel any difference xD.
So, when you set up a campfire in a field area, does it stay for a certain period of time after you leave the resting site? Or does it disappear as soon as you leave?
