Possible compromise on circle resets

So i’ve been lurking for a while and following the whole circle reset debate and wanted to add in my two cents, figured it would be better to start fresh instead of posting in the middle of heated arguements.

Idea #1Try it before you buy it

How this would work is once you reach class level 15 you would have the option of advancing to the next class, thereby permanently locking you into your class choice or you could choose to redo the circle. You would be able to choose a different class for that circle but would have skill points and class level set back to 1 so you’d have to grind out the circle again. This way if you discover a class isn’t working how you thought it would you can retry a different class in that circle without needing a whole new character but would still need to deal with the same grinding as anyone else with that class

Idea #2 I messed up, burn it to the ground

This idea would be when you reach level cap (or maybe every 50 or 100 levels) you could opt to reset all your circles back to base. You’d be reverted back to base class level 1 (so wiz, archer, swordie, cleric) but retain your character level. This way now that you can correct your mistake but would still need to grind those class levels out to prevent easy switching to crafting classes without the work.

Idea #3 If you strike me down now, i will come back stronger then you could possibly imagine

At level cap you can choose to reset your character to base class level 1 and character level 1. In exchange you get to keep all of your items and get a exp bonus (maybe aim to cut average leveling time to cap in half?)

So the aim of these ideas was to allow some form of do over without the need to reroll entirely while also trying to prevent the abuse a cash shop circle change could bring. I wanted to preserve the hardwork and sacrifices of the crafting, merchant and utility classes as well. Any comments, critiques, ideas of your own, etc… are welcome and appreciated. I did this more for fun then anything else so i take no offense from differing opinions. Please do try to keep it civil though (n.o)b
