I am wondering if there is a possibility to miss important prizes and achievements when I start to grind and dont follow quest line. In other mmos it was very frustration if you find out that you missed one or two quests that you can’t finish because you outleveled the “high-end cap requirement” and missed rewards. Its ok if you permanently miss some gear or gold/currency, but if you miss stats points, unique mounts or other thing obtainable only by this quest its like a pain in the neck. Putting things simple I want to ask if any of you couldn’t pick up some quests do to becoming to high level for starting them or not being able to enter quest location? There are not many mmos in which you can do low level quests at let`s say cap level character.
Nope there is no penalty, so grind away!
You will miss some stat points if you don’t ever do them but you can delay them for however much long.
That being said, there are some penalty that will hinder your “progression”, depending on your class-example: Linker’s attribute trainer requires you to do story quest, (until you finish the whole crystal cave dungeon, that first dungeon) in order for you to even see the trainer. Whether you need those attributes or not, its up to you. If you feel the attributes for that certain class isn’t needed then you can just skip it in general and deal with it at max level.
Then there is the story quest bringing you to places without you traveling long distances to reach an area which, if you were to not do story quests… you’d have to travel to maps that are 120+. Essentially mobs there will/can one shot you, thus making you do a full run back which takes roughly 30 minutes or so.
Example: Level 55ish you’ll start doing a story quest which will open a portal after completion. You take that portal and you’ll end up at Great King. If you don’t do story quests at all you’ll have to walk your ass all the way to there, traveling through level 120+ maps.
P.S. You might ask, how do i know? I experienced it all =]
I had a linker partner which we grind our way to high level. Through-out the whole time he couldn’t find his linker trainer. Also we walked our asses to Great King, through level 120+ areas! =P
Edit: Forgot to add, from level 1-100 i think its about 7-10 stat points? Considering you do story, zone quests and activate all the zone stat statues that give you extra stat points too. Without traveling to areas that is higher than your character level to get stat statues. No cheating! =P
I dont think you will have to worry about that on ToS.
I got one game with that kind of system once, and i dont even remember when or which game was that.

I think that side quests don’t have any level caps, but this is just a theory based on my test experience, but I don’t think that IMC would add a bottom cap if they want to reward exploration in their game.
I couldn’t do it without being rude actually since too many of your kind keep spelling lose wrong.
Bear in mind not everyone was born on a country where English is the main language.
Although there are those that deserve to be sent back to school to learn how to speak and write properly.
