Possession can be interrupted?

I did some searching about possession, some say it can be interrupted some say its a bug and it does not cancel. Can anyone give me a right answer ?

Possession never used to be interrupted by damage, this and other skills were changed to be interrupted by damage as it was a bug.

Possession in its current state is easily interrupted.

possession can be interrupted. it isnt easily intterupted as that guy said.its only usualy interupted for me when i have a lot of monsters aggroed. when i go up to monster and just cast possession it usually isnt interrupted. when i pull 5-10 monstrs that have fast run speed, i can be interrupted. an easy way to combat this is by doing this

  • pull 1-20 monsters
    -run a safe distance away from them (to where u can use possession)
    -use possession, monsters will walk i front of u, get locked, and die
    -more monster come, same thing
