Looking for perspectives from non-wizards too so I didn’t post this in wiz forum. Which do you find more useful for doing all pve contents?

Linker for non ET stuff
But for ET, definitely cryo ;3
Linker is the most fun though
i do not particularly want to see a Cyro. I just want the Frost Pillar :3

Cryo Chrono typically performs a bit better in ET. That’s not saying Linker Chrono isn’t good, because it’s fantastic with comps that make use of single-instance AoE vs. nuke AoE (e.g. Retreat Shot vs. Frost Cloud).
As I’ve parroted a few times, once you have enough damage to clear the DPS-check floors, ET becomes more about mitigation and control than dishing out the highest damage. Cryomancer provides quite a bit more in that department, especially with max level Frost Pillar, pretty much their key spell in the dungeon more so than anything else.
You take Linker if your team is incapable of passing the DPS check floors. You take Cryo if you’ve already surpassed the needed damage, and want better control of the objective missions between the DPS checks and bosses.
Though Cryomancer does have the warranted effect of making arena strategy more viable than Linker, which saves quite a bit of time on the DPS checks.
In general PvE (grinding) Linker is pretty fantastic. Kill things considerably faster. But Frost Pillar and Snow Rolling are great for gathering mobs, which has a similarly desired effect, without a target limit.

I’d go cryo3 chrono3. Then when rank 8 comes out and if there’s no new support class you can take Linker 1 + dandel gem for 6 links.
