Like i said they haven’t confirmed or made an announcement on anything you are discussing. All everyone has atm are guesses and assumptions.
I hope they’ll add some EU servers in the future if they are not up and running during early access. I would even pay for a server transfer. Somehow they have to pay additional servers.

Again, if IMC announce an EU server for exclusive access, so GOOD, everything is fine. But what if they don’t ? And it wouldn’t be surprising that IMC simply can’t opened an EU server in a few days, they lack ressources atm.

You are quoting them saying that they are still discussing it. All they confirmed is that there will be at least one server in NA. It’s not healthy to focus on “what ifs”…
You are in denial 
“Internal discussion” and “as soon as something is solid enough” mean when they have the ressources and are sure it will be worth it for them. You are making the assumption we will have some news about it before March 22th.

They didn’t confirmed there will at least one server in NA, they confirmed serverS will be in NA, same as iCBT serverS.
nah, i just dont want to form expectations and then have them made wrong when they finally announce something officially.
My “objective expectation” (read not what I hope for, but wait for) is we will not have an EU server for exclusive access, which wouldn’t be surprising. I really hope to be proven wrong in a few days.
In anticipation, we can suggest a compromise, there is no harm in that.

EU server opens for OBT at the earliest (so seems to be 1 month after founder, can be more than that)
We all expect/hope for the first thing to happen, but in the worst case scenario, what do we do ? At the very least, we can express in advance our desire in such case.
Everything up until now show that the second thing is the most probable one.
They have already proven that they are listening to the community, and alot of people including you are asking for EU servers. That’s all we can do for now.
So you are using my first argument against me, nice one …
I’m not simply asking for EU server, I’m suggesting a viable compromise, which is far more than “That’s all we can do for now”.

Because objectively, it won’t happen. IMC didn’t get any money from us yet, and forcing them to open a server is more a childish tantrum than anything else, and definetely not a compromise.
I rather have one month on NA servers then transfer to EU server rather than a rushed EU launch.
@Awwdorable EU server is definetely coming sooner or later. But rather than crying for it or waiting for it, I rather propose a viable idea to IMC in order to make that happen in a reasonable timeframe with ressources to back it up (also it would be a nice advertisement for IMC). As far as we know, transfer between servers isn’t something IMC wants, if not anticipated, it will become an issue once EU server opens.
Okay. If there are no EU servers at EA and no transfers available in future, they will loose a huge junk of their playerbase. At least the players I know, would never play a mmo under this circumstances.
I would appreciate an official statement about upcoming plans for different server locations, but I guess I will end up shoving money into their throats and hoping for the best.

Once EU server is out (only one is needed I think), if IMC allows founders to transfert, I don’t think we will need this service again.

And try to get every EU player to sign it… even if only with his forum nick.
And cheapest servers are still in ireland …
I would love a frankfurt or france amazon center server … i have 20~40 ping to those. Even without WTFast. But still … such a server needs to have an certain amoutn of users to be rentable.
And tax is applied, then cut from steam, then tax in south korea.
THEN they have the cut which imc gets. Which is subject to other taxes and bill again …
I will sign anything and post anywhere to get an EU server … but that might only happen on actualy OBT or realese…
Why care for server transfer… just make a new char. YOu can still play your other account. Just dont make the same char x times… there’s lots of choices.
Ill be satisfied with just a West Coast server.

Would you like to create a new account on an eu server after spending money and time on your founder account? I’m one of the best cash cows a mmo can get, but I would quit at this point.

From what I understood, the EU playerbase is pretty much balanced with NA and BR around 30% each, but that is based on iCBT (with limited keys). So one from the current 4 dedicated for EU isn’t so far fetched.
The aim of the thread isn’t to know if people want an EU server or not, it is clear that it is a YES!
The issue is a lot of people hope for an EU server for exclusive access, if IMC can pull this off, then great, but it is higly doubtful. The other issue is transfert between servers aren’t allowed as far as we know.
Also, a lot of EU players might not buy founder packs if there is no EU server for the exclusive access.
So, in anticipation, I suggest the following compromise : EU players are willing to get founder packs and start on NA servers while waiting for IMC to get the ressources and time to put an EU server up. In return, IMC allow transfert for the founders to get to EU server, one time only and why not only during the first week of EU server opening. Both sides agree to give something but it is still a win-win.
@imperidal Sorry for the selfish EU attitude … You guys are pretty much in the same boat as us, so it works for everyone I guess.
Honestly, don’t take it too badly, but you should stop talking like you’re representing EU whole community…
Also you should stop proposing a server release plan with dates like you’re in the loop with IMC staff.
They are already discussing this point internaly. Let them do their job and wait patiently…
As I said many times, I try to come up with a compromise as I read many EU players “asking” for an EU server for exclusive access. If you ask me, I don’t mind playing on NA server, sure an EU server would be neat, but it can wait, as long as I have a way to not lost my time spent on NA server via transfert.
Rather than waiting or posting #EUTOS like a child, I prefer to think about something.
