This game doesn’t have global chat.
Megaphone chat is more of a premium chat.
So remove Megaphones from the game, problem solved. No lag, no goldsellers.
I wouldn’t mind it being removed, but I’m sure majority will be opposed to the idea, 'cause reasons.
Please temporary remove megaphone chat until you have better salutation to fix this lag. Right now the gold spammer just spamming it none stop. causing lag spike and fps drops. Blocking them is useless, after 10 sec new bot will spawn.
The idea of “no global chat” and “paying for sending a global message via megaphones” is typical for cash-grabbing games that tend to be P2W as well. Just saying. Any respectable game developer wouldn’t use the system of megaphones instead of just a simple global chat.
They might pretend to say “it’s to prevent spamming from goldsellers”, but it’s a clear indication of what direction this game will go.
Goldsellers won’t be discouraged by having to pay $$$ to use megaphones. They make enough profit to be able to purchase megaphones anyway.

You can just add a timelimit to the megaphones, like 1 per Minute or 20 a day. Or if someone write the same message 5 times a day he get a 1 week ban from the global chat.
Was gonna come here to tell IMC this when I had time. Disabling shout was the best thing that happened in ICBT2, the atmosphere of the game just felt better, it also promoted a lot of socializing and chatting with the people around you. The problem is this would require them to re enable trading for everyone so people can open shops in town. Everyone I’ve tried to trade with felt it was very stupid for it to be disabled without 2 people having a token, its confirmed no one likes the system so IMC should change it asap. It doesn’t get rid of goldsellers directly (Which is what they should of done in first place 
) so its pointless and only really hurts us legit players. Removing all the marketplace restrictions would also work.
Put a level requirement onto it. at least if you have a team member with level 100+ you should be able to
Rather than removing megaphone chats, there should be just an option to turn off megaphone chats. It’s the most sensible solution really.
Simple solutions are usually simple to circumvent. The goldsellers use multiple accounts and characters so any kinds of limits of this sort won’t help at all, unfortunately.
Lostac’s idea might work, put it maybe at level 50
I can’t even vote due to overlapping adds, I would vote yes though, what’s the actual point megaphones aside from sales. (for future reference, strawpoll is a thing
