I guess I’m waiting to see how it’ll be in the next few months.
This new patch is adding a lot of good things (and it’ll also add quite a lot of bugs I’m sure but no point focusing on them) and it makes me hope they’ll keep improving it bit by bit.
I’m surprised at how happy I am about the Wugushi poisons stacking, even if I’m not gonna play my Wugushi ever again XD Wugushi surprisingly became one of my favourite classes, even if at first I took it as a kind of “filler rank” (filler rank that became “I’ll build my character around it !”).
But at the same time, I don’t care that much. It’s not something I’m impatiently expecting… If they do manage to make the game much better, that’s great, if they don’t, it’s okay, they killed the hype for this game a long time ago already.
And in a way, even if they did, it doesn’t change the fact the game has lost A LOT of players.
I guess I’m just curious to see what will become of TOS… I already quit (but I didn’t make a “I’m quitting !!” thread, shame on me) so it’s not something I’m super excited/curious about, I think TOS has a lot of issues more than optimization and lag. Having those issues is already pretty terrible, but then when you add issues about balancing, about the way a lot of things work, about contents, etc., you realize how the game still isn’t even on a “ready to be released” level yet. But it was anyway.
And at the end you just get too tired and disappointed when you think about the good ideas, the music, the beauty of the game, the potential, and how they messed up a lot of things.
It seriously makes me wonder what was their goal with this game. What did they want to achieve ? What kind of game did they want to build ? Have they truly stopped caring much about it ?
They seemed so happy and proud when it was still in development and now they don’t seem to care anymore. It feels like they gave up or something, so I just gave up as well.
I’ll log to get my Miko because I waited for it every week and I’m too stubborn to let go of it.
I’ll log to get my Shepherd when it’s released because it was kind of my dream to become one, but I’m pretty much done.
I strangely don’t regret buying EA packs though because I truly wanted this game to be good and to believe in it… I just wish the staff/devs would actually explain what happened.
