#TeamBulbasaur all the way! #GrasstypeLivesMatter

On a serious note, I need a new phone for this, and finally a good excuse to ride out besides buying grocery lol

By the way, do you need to be always connected to the internet to play the game or will having GPS on be enough?

@Biskee You need both internet and GPS turned on.if you have a pocket internet then thats good as you can both connect to the internet and activate GPS. AGPS also works.

Just came back home… before going out i was like… “Okay kids, we have to get back for lunch” (thats 1 hour after we left) and now…7~ hours later… wify 1 and 2 are mad and happy at the same time. My kids are like… SOOOO HAPPY!!! we caught 38 pokemon in total bwahahaha fck that squirtle i almost went dipping on a fountain! (lost 7 pokeballs and it fcking ran).

We are so going outside again tomorrow…

btw… shade/dark pokemons come out in the evening too…so i told my kids…and they were like Scared + curious + happy + planning to stay awake to catch some ghost pokemon!

anyway… cyah all guys… i think i wont be coming here for a while…

Family that plays together…eats chicken teriyaki later…together.

oh btw a nice tip… on the lower right side you can see all the “pokemon near you” but that doesnt always happen. Sometimes, rare pokemons do show up but are not seen on the lower right side. You can also tap that part and tap the pokemon and your char will face where the pokemon direction is. Also you kinda need to walk a lil bit far.

Oh bummer. I unfortunately don’t have any other use for mobile data at this time.

It seems fun though. Maybe when my daughter’s a bit older (just going 2 this August) and this game is still rocking it we’ll pick up on it. Still planning to buy and let her play the classic Pokemon GB games though.

Just logged back into the game…and fck…

after a few minutes

Id rather play pokemon go…no bots, no spam, and best of all i play with my kids and this is one of the things they both enjoy. I havent told them that they can battle each other, they need to learn the basics 1st lelz

@Biskee well heres the thing. If you have a mobile router and ofc a ISP sim, you can easily search the internet on how to TAP into the what they call “Technical Channel” which is commonly used by technicians and customers to check coverage area and you can get FREE internet. I dont wanna use the word, but i hope you got it. ^_~

time to go pokemon hunting…i mean jogging. /GG

I’m scared to leave my house because of Pokemon Go. Someone might slam their car into me because they were distracted by a Pokemon or something more creatively worse. People have already died while playing it.
I also fear this game may lead to the end of humanity. What if someone’s quest for Pokemon leads them to the Launch button deep within a Nuclear missile base and sets off a chain reaction that ends in global nuclear fallout?

If that really happens…the first thing to blame isn’t the pokemon go app but your government taking the proper security measures to be placed on such a fragile and delicate, and possibly a Weapon of mass destruction in the wrong hands, facility.

Its just like blaming the internet for making us stupid… we now have an unlimited source of information that is supplied from all over the globe… Its up to us to utilized the knowledge and separate the right from the wrongs.

Though then again… if a nuclear fallout was to happen in my country… we probably be wiped out from the face of earth XD …

But one can only wish for such a thing to occur =p

Maybe i should download the app as an excuse for me to go jogging…
Need to keep fit for mandatory national service =.=…

Bloody lazy as fck at times

I’m actually being completely serious but in a goofy way. Honestly this game is a disastrous invention and will probably be sued/banned.

just like I expected, there isn’t a single pokestop around my area :expressionless:

also server were down most of the time so hasn’t been able to play that much :frowning:

Well i can’t say much lol…since i dun’t really know how the us law works… let alone their state laws…

But to be very serious and frank with you i’m gonna say the only one to be blame will most likely be the person…

Cause if that’s the case… every phone/smartphone creator…every app creators will prob get sued by the ppl whom were texting while driving and murdered/ injured someone by the accident they cause.:expressionless:

I just wanna catch a trigglypuff…they are so cute and adorable…
Where do i find one… i know there are alot in the forums but i cant throw my phone at my notebook screen to capture them.

probably in a tundra… so I might get one eventually :smirk:

It would be cool if they put legendary pokemons on top of hard to climb mountains like Kilimanjaro and Everest.

seen how all the 1st gen pokemons are supposedly in the game, I think that’s a possibility…

though I doubt they would do that…

-_-" got achilles tendinitis due to too much pokemon…i mean jogging…

oh well…

very possible especially for someone who havent read the guidelines.

Very possible, but i dont give a fck since i can just tell my pokemon to cast shield or teleport or regenerate /GG

i also saw that coming, but the guidelines and Terms of use…? whatever that sht called, honestly says to be careful.

You can make one.

yep…fixing hax already.

uhm…sorry but…
only Kanto pokemons are available at the time.

lelz trigglypuff meme haha

thats not gonna happen, but some places like here in kingdom tower have a rare pokemon at around 20-25th floor.

Guys you dont need to keep the app opened…and you dont have to stare at your phone all the time…pls read some tips or at least read the guidelines lelz… even when the app is on background, not opened, pokemon go will ALERT / BEEP when a pokemon is near you…as in very near you. You can open pokemon go app and catch/engage the pokemon or dismiss the alert.

however, please force stop the app before going to sleep.

also you dont really have go go so far to catch lots of pokemon (for now?) my kids got some pokemon while they are inside the house. i wonder why pokemons dont visit me though…-_-"

how can I make one

Ingress never got banned, despite causing multiple altercations and plenty of deaths.

Pokego is designed to be a lot more fun and friendly. also, I heard of a boy getting hit by a car, but that’s it. did he die?

That being said, a lot of people playing while driving. dont do it yes

The app is really fun and great in itself. From Day 1, I’ve seen so many people on the streets just playing it, and sometimes complete strangers get together and talk about/trade tips/go pokemon hunting together. I can see how this can be potentially dangerous but most people interact in groups, and solo players just give shoutouts to each other when they pass by. I heard college/work campuses are completely in love with the game, organizing crawls for pokemon hunting.

Tonight at around 8-9 I went to a double lure in a park and there were at least 6 other people there, playing on their phones HAHA. Some people came on bikes, with couples, with their dog, etc. I ended up dropping another lure there, found one of my least favorite pokemon, named him Gedgy (Gary + Edgy)

A lot of people say it motivated them to finally go outside, talk to others despite anxieties, walk despite being inactive and maybe overweight. It’s buggy and limited and unfortunately a bit distant from the original series in complexity but I wouldn’t call it a “disastrous invention” haha

I can definitely say this just for myself, even. Most weekends I’m in the apartment with my boyfriend and he’s playing GW2 while I’m here on the forums or Reddit, maybe Discord.Basically, always indoors and playing separate games with the exception of ToS on occasion.

But Pokemon GO has already made a nice change in our routine. This past weekend we spent the majority of the days walking for miles and miles in search of Pokemon and it was so fun.We planned ahead and brought water, snacks,my portable charger [he just ordered another one],and light hoodies because we had mixed weather.Other than our phones dying from playing all day and server issues we’ve loved it and I’m personally very grateful for the game already.

An off-topic thread for this game wouldn’t be a bad idea, actually.
