Plz IMC, explain how to gain poitns in Boruta

Since the boruta ins open, my pt stayed alive about 60 minuts and gained 0 points, can you guys show how to corretly gain points?

There’s a detail about this already. https://treeofsavior.com/page/news/view.php?n=1610

Can confirm that staying alive for about 30 mins give about +/- 5 points, full AFK.

i dont thing that’s right. others than me gained about 14 points and me 0. I have no clue why but i think that points are broken.

the contribution system seems to not display the current contribution correctly at all times (probably a database or server error).
My contribution was fixed at 15 points for about 2 hours straight and then suddenly rose to way over 50 within 30 minutes, although I didn’t change the way I played and even died more often within these 30 minutes then the 2 hours before.

Also, it would be very nice if you could refrain yourself from afking inside the cave just to leech contribution points. You’re not doing anything to help but actually you’re even hindering the Boruta subjugation because every player inside the Boruta map makes the game lag more for everyone else.

I can understand that the rewards are tempting as you got 3 medals and 45 shards for being in the top 70% of contribution, but you shouldn’t be immoral and make it harder for the people who are actually fighting to get you to even have anything (because if Boruta doesn’t die within the week, you get nothing no matter how long you afked inside the cave like a hibernating bat) since you don’t contribute with damage or support.

I’m actively fighting Boruta with the guild I’m in and I hate people flooding the cave because the FPS drops significantly, making it harder to deal damage and thus make me waste more hours of my life just to have some medals at the end.
It’s disgusting that people complain about not getting any contribution for sabotaging the subjugation of Boruta.

In my opinion people who just afk should stack negative contribution so that they won’t get anything later on when they’re ready to join the fight if they just leeched rewards beforehand.

what a wall of text when all you’re trying to say is

“Don’t be near me and lag my potato PC, for my benefit”

If imc do what you said, your guild(or other major guilds in each server) will monopoly the raid and that’s not okay.

Never said anything about channel crashes, as for leechers? They’re fine, definitely better than griefers or undergeared people trying to DPS.

That being said, your appeal is to prevent majority of the population from participating in the content so you and your guild can clear it for yourselves?

Get out of your dream world, just log out stop playing ToS and play a single player game ffs.

Yeah this seems to be the case. I tried to play a bit yesterday inside the cave and didn’t get a single point for a while (died a lot though), but as soon as the cave was more accessible and I could actually deal damage to Boruta, points were starting to accumulate quickly.

In fact, afking doesn’t seem to give a lot of points. You need to survive a lot of time if you don’t do anything. Note also that Boruta has a nasty attack that sends purple clouds anywhere in the map that will track people and explode after a countdown for massive damage. Not mentioning the constant raiding of hostile pvpers.

Easily fixed: make arrangements with other guilds to fix hours for Boruta. When it’s your time, don’t allow other people to stay (should be really easy if you’re 40-50 for the event). But don’t camp 24/7 sniping everyone that tries to enter and contribute.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
sorry I will just laugh the whole day. Any poor sob that wants to enter and cooperate gets sniped on spawn point. Cooperation indeed. No, there’s only one way to fix this and it’s by talking and make arrangements between guilds. Otherwise it’s a mess and indeed everyone’s hindering the raid instead of helping.

Imagine all the people starting to get fed up trying to actually just “cooperate” and getting endlessly killed without even having a chance to see the dragon
instead of giving up, they could simply leave their char “dead” inside the lair to waste a spot in the channel. And when the area gets flooded with bodies
what next? People that actually help will be left outside

Anyway

I’m waiting for the implementation of what was mentioned in the dev blog. Especially the removal of healing and 70% cap for rewards. This will help greatly reduce the AFking problem as not only you will be able to kill Boruta faster (and prevent him from bogus healing when there’s a crash), but simply contributing will allow you to get the rewards.

Server: [NA] Klaipeda

Provide me gently with your ign on Fedimian.

Also, with the friendly fire mechanic being in place, kindly explain me how would I be able to help Maid Café with killing Boruta. Oh, maybe using Joint Penalty and Annihilation will surely help them by doing 0.01% damage to the boss and damaging half their guild in the process.

Umineko or whatever your name is, I am from Amanecer and we were there contributing trying to stop afkers and others but you Insanity started to fight us without any reason, Albero at least is an honest player and they did not attack us on sight(that’s what we agreed) and we tried to protect the rightmost zone of sulivinas lair, It’s obvious that Insanity doesn’t want us there because they think they are superior than others and doesn’t want to face reality that they are not top1 server anymore, now it’s maid cafĂ© and if they don’t want you or any to kill boruta they can deny the server any time they want happy killing inside Boruta, see you tonight

The point is, the only way to get points is to stay afk? This is dumb
Therefore, i’ll keep killing afk’s in boruta’s lair, this is not a fair way to get points.

Clearly the points is not for damaging dealing on boruta or do side events is impossible to achive. And i keep saying, their keeped me alive about 60 minuts and i got 0 points, this is ridiculous

@GM_Francis @STAFF_Bob

Can you clear this for us?

If any guild is upset about afkers ‘leeching’ contribution they can always go and kill them, it is pvp enabled.

Yes it sucks that the channel is limited to 100 players, but even with that restriction the channel crashes all the time. We have to work with what we have.

The main way, at least right now, to gain contribution is to kill players, damage boruta, stay alive, and collect echos which boruta spawns periodically.

I don’t know that, but I was not arguing about if he is from insanity or not, just clarifying that we were not afk as he stated

You were not hitting the dragon, and whined when anyone attacked you
So please, enlighten me ? What were you exactly doing if not afk’ing

Reminder to Umineko A.K.A. Insanity

It’s a game. If you are not able to play with the rest of the humanity, leave.

Thanks

Reading sure is hard huh?

We (pampa (5 players or 1 idk (some peoples in my head) ) are the bad guys, because we do PvP in PvP Zone.

Next Gold Level : PvP in TBL

Ps: Who is this unknow player?

We had an agreement and we did exactly what was expected from us that’s it, if you think we were afk, ok.

Woot? Maid cafĂ© and us had an agreement, and it was meant to be with you too bur you said no, that’s it. I don’t know who umineko is

Poor Umineko rejected by their people, rejected by their enemies
