Pls add more more quest, is very boring to do grind

You’re doing something wrong, because you don’t really need to grind in this game until high levels. You probably missed on quests or just followed the single main quest.

Quests are very boring as well.

I stick to my flash mob suggestion before. If you get swarmed by 20 enemies at once, a single tough enemy, or a dark version of yourself, et cetera (depends on zone) with one miniboss randomly with a chance to drop an item with an enchantment, that would make things interesting.

My thought on why there’s just that one narrow path to go with every character to level up right now is that it is like that becasue it’s still in beta.
I mean, how many updates did WoW receive to have this many quests? And how many were there at the very beginning?
Same for Ragnarok Online, when i think back to the very early days there weren’t many maps and monsters to choose from, too. It all came with updates. MMOs are never finished they continue to grow after initial public release.
And that’s what i think/hope will happen here, too.

Repeatable quests would be nice. As to level up a bit more quickly. Of course there is a option to add monster kill quests as well, but up to the creators of tree of savior.

Well, you could easily reach lvl 120 just doing quests and a little grind. I don’t know about later lvls

Yeah instead your put in time out for 5+ hours per level before your allowed to have any progression…

But seriously the grinding doesn’t seem to start seriously till like 150+ somewhere (the early game one -3 levels between quests isn’t that big a deal)… If you honestly expect 0 grinding in an MMO idk if its the right thing cause they all pretty much wind down and force you to grind for hours or quit…

That all said I much pefer they add more interesting content that gives exp then more fixed quests… This is to break up constant grinding and help it not be “the only thing you can do”… There are various ways they could do it that don’t require any major changes to the core game mechanics… (though more work to code test and get them working obviously)…

Simple ideas being things like mini-co-op dungeons like boss rush or killing a bunch of mobs in a time limit - like minigames based around combat in interesting arenas… That reward exp… Making any pvp modes give exp in some way… (The idea they would be much more challenging then normal grinding/regular boss content and give exp rewards based on how hard they are…)

More complicated ways (but break up the linearness of the game maybe)… Have it so randomly towns people would wander through areas (like walking from one exit to another) - and if you talk to them they would give a quest in the current area to do something, and then you turn the quest in back in the city they come from for rewards equal to the level area you found the quest in…

Swarms, which are like world bosses but with normal mobs… If that makes sense - where respawn rate is much higher… Mob strength increases, an maybe more spawn in general in an area for a given time (ir till a given number is killed… what ever is better)… Maybe the end reward for killing a swarm is how many mobs are killed… by everyone… Besides just being an opportunity to grind some extra exp/loot for a bit…

Adding these types of map events might help replayability (since you may not run into the same npcs (or any) again or hit swarm time or whatever)…

And lastly maybe there could be dailies from your class NPC’s (I think current class would be nice, but more work)… And these would give different types of quests that give exp rewards, but also effect the game world for everyone… Such as - as a Kivis you have to maintenance a certain number of statues… and when a statue is maintenance it’s teleport cost is reduced (based on how many do it and it resets at sometime or just raises/lowers as the quest is done)…

Some classes could do things to lower shop prices (maybe help escort merchants… we all love escort quests)… Or maybe training fees… idk… Would have to figure out how to make the quests protrain to the given class then give a few types so don’t always get the same one every time…

When you switch classes you get a class quest already, so maybe they could be like these ones?

Anyways I assume you get the idea… There are probably even better ways they could add content that fits an MMO and is rewarding/interesting enough to break up grinding… These are just some random thoughts I had…

I doubt they will do any of that though and what your playing is what you’ll get except… It’ll be 3x (or 5x depending who is right) slower in the actually release… Since exp is boosted atm.

If 200 is the current level cap for release (and the 200+ content isn’t actually done/released with release…) Then I don’t think the grinding is in a horrible spot atm… Even if it is boring/slow… Cause it does need to take some amount of time and not be to fast…

It could do - from the sounds of it (And I could tell even before level 100) … Mob density and min channels needs to increase in areas so its easier to grind stuff…

Right now even if you solo area in a spot that spot will eventually respawn slower then you can kill them(At lest for cleric)… much quicker with 5 people… Thats not a good way to do it imo…

Mob density and respawn rates should increase quicker, the more people that are in the area… An channels need to open sooner or just be default a few, and new ones open alittle quicker…

They also (imo) should add the idea where anyone who hits mobs gets full credit/drop chance… To remove all ksing from the game… You can help other people kill stuff even out of party (our buffs can help them and I like that… Why not damage to?)… Makei t a little easier for solo grind people…

These changes are probably more realistic at this point…

your comment actually makes no sense at all.

Actually I find it the most fun leveling game is Guild Wars 2,
it is not like I want ToS to be another copy of GW2, but some features that maybe ToS can take note about.

What I like in GW2 is it give exp in almost everything you do, like crafting, PvP, GvG, and etc, not to mention live-quest that keep you busy on the map.
Maybe it is over to talk about live-quest (it require massive scripting), but random boss on the map, exploring the map to 100%, crafting, achievement, and etc will able to give some good amount of exp as well.

Grind/Quest/Dungeon are too traditional and boring.

Again, another topic that is trying to discuss the story and people talking about EXP. Am I the only one who cares about the story and plays RPG? Oh well…

Well in almost all RPG there’s bound to be levels and experience points to accumulate. And if you’re lazy/bored/ too bothered to grind it be it quest or killing lots of monsters, and just leveling to become top and over powered just so to satisfy yourself as a dominant person (which by the way what League of Legends do). Well get out because you’re not having fun anyway. Why? You aren’t to be able to suck up what TOS has to offer; like exploring the map, crafting items, reading the story, pvp, guild battles, grinding items, quest and doing what it has to offer; and that’s the fun in it.

Each person’s fun is their own perspective.
