At first I was very skeptical of it being a issue, I’ve never heard of chat causing performance issues before. But after paying attention to the scrolling bar ontop I noticed a few things. The FPS issues start when someone takes up ALOT of space using it. And ends when the spamming of those messages stop. Second thing I noticed is, these overly large messages seem to cause a shadowy overlap of the words as the text scrolls by. This I believe may be the core cause of the performance issue regarding the spamming scrolling text. At any rate I’d like it if you would please at the very least temporarily disable megaphones until the issue is resolved. I’d much rather you just give us the option to turn it off all together though.
