i fail to see how people see the refund calculation is based on the proposed new mechanics âwâ;;;;;;;;;
iâd like to believe this thought process didnât happened at all
i whant to see an answeer by some staff becaus in the past with the first attribute points refound and the change on the price of anvil enhace, a lot o payes lose tons of silver
They didnât lose anything they got what they paid for at the time they purchased their attibutes. Only people I can think that got screwed are ones who bought attributes the day before the refund.
A ktos GM already confirmed that theyâre restoring the amount required to 100% success chance prior to the change.

does that mean you get 100% shards back regardless you had successful transcendences that you gambled at 80% OxO;;
no, you get the exact same amount that you used.
while i know what you mean, i was referring to crevoxâs statement, as it came from a ktos gm OxO;;
ill rephrase, we had a trans reset already, and they gave us the exact same stones we used, even to the ones who gambled. Thereâs something keeping count on the exact count for the dismantle to work, so they use that data.

Say you spent 50 gems to trans to stage 5. One way to interpret that text is âyouâll get the amount of gems required to transcend back to the former stageâ. Meaning theyâll give you the amount to get back to level 5. But after the transcendence reset, getting back to level 5 requires about half of what it did before. Which makes you get ~25 gems.
I can definitely see the confusion in how people are reading it. People were just asking for clarification or a GM to respond and say how many we get.

It would be really be a pinch in the face if example 2 days before this patch, someone used 2,900 bs to trans 10 and after the patch, boom we are refunded half (1450 bs) with a note âthank you for upgrading. we have refunded half of your bs to you and now you can upgrade to the same transcendence lvl againâ
Although from the patch notice I believe its a full refund using pre-patch BS requirement, but until someone or GM can confirm, Iâm going to stop all upgrades. The requirement for transcending to lvl 9 or 10 and gets only half refund back after patch, is not a joke. Thatâs like 241 days of non stop Saalus with 4 characters, and only getting back 121 days worth of work.

i know what you mean, i did experienced the refund before (but actually i got less than what i spent in return).
as you can see with crevoxâs statement, it was vaguely saying âthe amount required to 100%â which can be interpreted that you get a shard refund based on 100%ing a trans regardless of what you did back then
i just want a clarification from his part and not from yours (since youâre not the one who made that statement [unless youâre a witness to crevoxâs conversation with staff])âwâ;;;

really? âwâ? i was sure i got less gems than i have spent back then âwâ; though i didnât think much of it since most of my trans are on level 1 XD

my last goal in TOS (atm) is just farm saalus for the next update.
i stoped to transcend my weapon and i was thinking to break my actual trans 10 weapon before the update !

basically they refunded how much we spent exactly, and then increased the cost on all 2handed gear and lowered on all secondary gear (pistols/daggers/cannon require less).
