Please set spawn rates to icbt2 levels this is still way to slow

As topic says, the spawn is still WAY to damned slow especally of things like mini-bosses/elites on maps. Especally Vubbe fighters inc rystal mine 3f, you need its blood for a collection and for a pair of gloves but only 3 spawn every 5 mins atm, when the game files themselves according to every database I have seen says 3 should be spawning every 60 seconds. not every 300 seconds.

Seriously hunting an item for a level 20 ish collection should not be this hard, its by far the hardest thing I have been trying to do in this game, and I am almost level 70, its pathethic. Mind you I haven’t been hunting it exclusivly but still, it needs to be made a 100% drop chance if your going to have the damn mob pop every 5 mins.

Mini boss spawns are supposed to be slow. To use RO1 as a comparison, mini-bosses in that game were on a 30 minute timer and MVPs were on, I believe, a 1 hour timer.

Now regular mobs, like for quests and other stuff, I agree they should be very fast. Right now it seems like it’s roughly 30-45 seconds, but I don’t see any harm in the regular monsters being even faster respawn than that.

I also agree that collection items need to have their drop rates increased a bit. If you are worried about stuff like armor and weapons that are on the collection table being too easy to obtain, then just take those off the collection table entirely. Leave flavor items like “orb of -insert monster name here-” on the table but increase it’s chance of dropping by a considerable amount. Right now collections are too much of a chore because certain items just DON’T drop at all.

Also, items that drop exclusively from mini-bosses should NOT be on the collection table at all. Or like was suggested, if you absolutely MUST have them on there, make the drop rate 100% for those specific items.

Well like i said that mob is supposed to be on a 60s respawn. I mean 5 min repop plus the item has such a low drop rate is kinda BS.

Yeah the need to take mini-boss item off the collection tables or make it 100% for the mini-boss dropped items, that’s one that I agree with completely that you suggest.

The point of the collections is that they are hard to complete as they give all your characters stats permanently. Plus those items being required to complete collections and being rare is good for the economy it creates more items with value.

I don’t remember encountering any mini boss in this game…
Only quest bosses and wold bosses…

I think hes referring to mobs like Vubbe fighter and Fireent who have low mob counts and long re spawns.

Then he is wrong to assimilate theses as “RO mini-bosses”. Theses are only low spawn Elites (tougher mobs with higher HP and exp).
Sometimes they drop something that interests you but they are nothing exceptional, if it isn’t for their low spawn…

I would agree with that, but once again this is my speculation. I could be wrong with what he is referring to.

Got a bit of time to play today and I did 10 hours today grinding for Crystal Spider Crystal…got nothing… :frowning:

This game not friendly to people with limited time to play.

I hope they adjust the drop rates some what a little, otherwise I might have to give up unfortunately.

The problem is the game has 2 spawn systems working at the same time.

The mob respawn itself, which is quite short (and has been reduced by 50% this patch) and the timer in which the game checks if a monster has to respawn.

This last one is what is causing all the problems. It doesn’t matter if a monster has a respawn timer of 5 seconds if the game only checks if it has to be respawned every 2 - 5 mins.

Honestly, this system completely stupid and was not present on the closed beta as far as I know, but for some reason they implemented it for the final release.
