The real grinding start after level 120+ and is not permanent.
On level 69-75 you may need to grind 2-4 levels but normally just go full pots, and do quest in alternation between the two grinding zones.
1St grinding zone = Mausoleum F1 > F5
2nd Grinding zone = Gytis Settlement Area > Tenants Farm.
Its forgetting the dungeons (or post poning them) that gets people screwed.
Since dungeon exp decreases the higher level you are you want to do Tenet as soon as you hit 50 for maximum exp the max times. That will push you ahead so that you donât run into the quest gap.
If you ignore Tenet youâll hit the quest gap.
NOW thatâs not so easy to get in the dungeon, i spend about 2 hours yesterday trying to get in without result. But yeah, at lvl 52 ONE dungeon let me pass 56 lvl.
I donât see the problem at those lvls i grind new sets of gear and ill break through the grind section before im finished a full set.

Grinding is quite fine but thereâs a need to have some âsauceâ to them.
It could be just like a âhunterâ quest to kill X monsters from a type or from a region⌠get that 1% drop from every monster in a place.
It is nice to do it when itâs not just about grinding but when they are side quests that give some unique and/or non-unique things after grinding for some time. Iâm used to get high levels on console RPGs but I have almost no free time today to grind in a mmo just for leveling.
You either grind by doing repetetive quests or you grind by repetetive monster killing, there really is no difference
i hope it takes more than 1 year to max level, otherwise it ill be just more of the same boring games where u reach max level fast and keep doing everyday same things (pvp, dg,daily, and wait for the next day) âŚ

you bring up a good point a number of players have pointed out xp rate is not the issue the mob xp chart is they donât scale up with the lvls as much as they should.
well the first real grinding starts at mid 70s. You can do 1-70 in a day without problems but after that the leveling pace gets significant slower if u didnt save up your exp scrolls
to get to 200? I highly doubt that. and I donât think itâs going to be level 600 right off the bat either, I believe it will be level 200, then later it will be 400, ect ectâŚ

Did they state the cap is 200? Cuz I seen tell of it from the Korean side that its gonna start at 600+. Also the rates is apparently at 3x. Wait when its back to normal rates. Youll have stuff to cry about then.

Makes sense they would. The rate as it is now was done for testing purposes and even with 3x rate alot of people are having a hard time leveling and grinding beyond 75. I cant wait for Open Beta to hit where everyone starts over again but at the original 1x rate. Its gunna be guud.

You complaining isnt going to change anything, they arenât going to scrap the whole game just because YOU cant handle the grind but the whole Korea and a crap ton of people in the western community appreciate the grind.
There are a lot of RO fans and a lot of players that love grind, Its a change of pace from all the other 8+ Years of MMORPG thats been released. I dont know how youâre not sick of quest grinding.
TLDR: Go play another game if you dont enjoy grinding games. Dont ruin a game that many enjoy the grind.
P.S. If you think ToSâs level 1-200 grind is bad, youâve obviously been spoon fed. Try playing the Original Maple Story with none of the new update. You grind 12 hours to get at most 10% of exp at level 160+. You honestly think grinding for 4 hours for a level is bad? Jokes on you bro.
