Still considered an exploit since it was patched and wasn’t intended in the first place. I would say Gem abrasive hurt the economy more than people opening the cube since everyone gets one and it breaks when you get the prac. IMC is more to blame because a few people got banned due to opening the cube from other people crashing. IMC only punished people who open the cube but not the channel crasher which should have been ban in the first place.
It’s hard to understand your wordings.
but if all you did were opening cubes then I feel bad for you. The people who crash channels should be the ones getting perma banned.
However I feel it’s good for IMC to start banning people and you will not lose much on the next event (just a chicken hat).
Then I guess IMC is retarded
Never said otherwise.
IMC only punished people who open the cube
I just f**king love this wave of whiners
Oh, I think you got off pretty easy, I wish IMC had perma-IMC’d you
Better late than never. The problem is the logic used to ban the players (Only those who opened a cube after a crash instead of both who exploited and CRASHED the chanel). I get what you mean, but i still believe that it is better to start banning anyone who exploits rather than not doing anything (Which IMC preferred to do before)
i send the same request and a staff member answer the same thats they tolde me the first week(something like they can do nothing about. cos they have to play another game instead help ToS players)
and now others players are exploting tis new event surely without any consequence… they migth exploit to get a loot of boss drop, instance resets and again get tons of abrasives ( and IMC keep thinking open the box to get a practonium is a worst exploit ?)

IMC messed up again and left a bug in the wild, just like tbl/instances resetting the mystical cube.
Where are the bans?
and where is the staff now ? playing overwatch or another blizzard game?. no one reply when they are taged.
pls some staff answer @STAFF_Max @STAFF_Ethan @STAFF_Yuri @STAFF_Ines @STAFF_Amy
and where is john ? fired?
IMC stop embarrassing yourself

(yes your)
Permaban would be better
seriously? no shame? no matter if you gained something or not, the fact you exploited, it may be a little exploit or a big one doesnt change the fact you exploited so yes, you deserve the ban
@calichejimenes @Mawsiee if you 2 have done the new event more than 3 times today then you’re exploiting, so you deserve a ban

I agree, but shouldn’t they ban all the hook64 users, channel crashers, and bots?
Banning a player for 30 days for getting or not getting something they will eventually get seems a bit out of sync with what they should be trying to accomplish.
I don’t know if anybody else noticed, but ITOS has the smallest population of all versions of TOS and has continued to steadily decline.
I think just the removal of the practonium and not giving them back the mystical cube would’ve sufficed and probably caused half of them to quit. But 30 day ban and removal of practonium = almost guaranteed quit.
The way of IMC
When a player does channel crashing, doing exploits : 1 week ban, sometimes 0 day ban
When a player enters the dungeon more than 2 times : 1 month ban
he got caught, he got banned.
i agree that they should ban all exploiters but no matter how small the exploit or how trivial it is, the fact that there was a violation and the violator got caught, they get punished.
it wont be much of a punishment if theres no negative repercussion to the caught abuser
it is possible to do the event more than 3 times, i simply have to use another char above lv100
Yes, and it’s not intended, they said it’s per team, so you’re abusing a bug, I don’t see you asking for your ban?
It seems IMC doesn’t have a way to trace back who did the crashing. It’s possible that as soon as the player types and sends the command, it immediately kills the channel without logging the command (it’s not normal/party/guild/shout/whisper chat anyways; it’s more akin to addon commands except that it affects server-side).
I think IMC just assumed that whoever was crashing had intentions, one of which exploiting the cube reset bug caused by the crashes. It’s possible they do have logs of each player’s activity, inventory-wise, so they thought “hey, this guy kept reopening his cube - might be one of those crashers. That’s enough proof. Let’s ban him.”
“hey, this guy kept reopening his cube - might be one of those crashers. That’s enough proof. Let’s ban him.”
That is what happened, it’s pretty obvious since it all started. The thing is, the tbl/instances bug happened after the channel crashing was fixed, so they could’ve excluded people resetting the cube during monday 16th, I believe it’s the only day that bug was happening, and then ban everyone who resetted the cube before the maintenance that fixed the command.
Ban is a ban but I don’t agree with IMC banning u for 1 month because of entering the dungeon more than twice(with token), plus you will miss the event
1 Month ban should be given to those who abuse the Reset Cube Time Crashing Server
Well IMC doesn’t want to ban the ones that used the weed exploit cuz if they would, there goes 99% of the population

o dont thiink so. only players on the farm chanels can exploit that event. i remember that was 4-5 maps with 2or3 chanels maximun no more than 1000 players but a few ones (without life) was explotin the weeds all the day. almost all the day was imposible to joint on some chanels
