Iād say it depends on the kind of cheat/exploit.
Doing something serious like channel crashing, botting, item duping, silver exploits, etc should definitely get a perma-ban because it has the potential to harm everyone.
Less harmful exploits could definitely stay at a temp-ban basis of 7days~3 months for first-time-offenders + wipe of the items/silver/exp in question, but perma-ban on the second occurance, i think.
IMC has been really firm with this one instance, so maybe the start of an exploit intolerance. But I guess weāll be quick to find out if a new exploit comes up.
That wasnāt a feature, it was an exploit. If it was a feature IMC wouldnāt have changed it and let everyone share until the event ended but was patched within the same day. IMC just couldnāt figure out who did the exploit or too many people exploited that they would have banned half the server.
That didnāt involve any channel crashing tho. Banning people for collecting at the same time would look even more retarded than banning for opening a cube after another player crashed a channel.
Still considered an exploit since it was patched and wasnāt intended in the first place. I would say Gem abrasive hurt the economy more than people opening the cube since everyone gets one and it breaks when you get the prac. IMC is more to blame because a few people got banned due to opening the cube from other people crashing. IMC only punished people who open the cube but not the channel crasher which should have been ban in the first place.
