Please put a roof over some npcs so they don't look homeless

I am bothered by the large amount of npcs that stand outside like homeless folk. Would it hurt to put a roof over their head? It won’t be long before a mean elementalist casts Rain and ruins every shopkeeper’s day.

Staying outdoors has the advantage of avoiding a loading screen. Pyro, Highlander, and Bokor players can definitely relate. However, there is a way around it. Walking behind certain objects causes them to become transparent, which can then be used to simulate them being indoors or at least, sheltered. For example, the consumable merchant stands outside their house to sell items. At the very least, open up the house so it looks like a stall, kind of like the weapons and armor guy, but significantly more pronounced. Put the npcs under a roof, behind a desk, and give them a few display racks. Give them a real store or else every npc is going to look like a shady watch dealer from a big city. Not just the item merchant. If an npc isn’t going to be under a roof or behind a lemonade stand, at least have them be doing something that gives them a reason not to be indoors. Archer master could be doing target practice with a training dummy, for example.

The marketplace guy is covered with so many people; he is literally the needle in the proverbial haystack. He needs help, he needs more employees. With his fee, he can definitely afford it. Decorate his street so that it looks like a real marketplace. With an entire street, people should be able to press space near any desk or counter with the market staff to access the market. Then people won’t all be overlapping each other and it will look better. The storage npc should get similar treatment. At the very least, a desk near a lot of lockers or warehouse-like buildings. Finally, these hard working npcs need a roof over their heads as well. At least an awning or something to provide shade. Standing in front of random unoccupied houses looks bad. Would you trust one random guy with your items if he did that irl?

If you do successfully put some npcs like the cleric and priest inside a church-like building, whether it be through the transparent roof method I bolded above or in an actual building like the Bokor master, consider giving the class master npcs the ability to enchant your klaipeda warpstone. If enchanted, using the warpstone will teleport you to that class master instead of the goddess statue. This ought to help prevent the massive lag spike from walking near the goddess statue since players will be spawning elsewhere. I’d limit the effect to only class masters in klaipeda, to stay true to the item’s original intended effect.
