Please make the One Hand Spears visually longer!

In the name of Leonidas I demand larger Spears!

No seriously, the way One Handed Spears look right now, is like this:

Yes, this is a toothpick. And yes my paint skills are awesome.

In my opinion the length should be doubled from its current state, maybe I’m not the only one suffering from these short spears and a small penis? /s

In terms relative to human proportions, the spears should be about maybe 12.5% longer if we’re using the in-game character models to be like humans. But that’s for one-handed spears of course. In history there were different lengths of spears for different situations since it’d be somewhat useless to have to balance a long spear with one arm while holding a shield. It’d be too clunky, but that depends on the weight as well.

If the spears were lengthened to what I had suggested, they would be referred to as short spears.

Now, the Spartans are special. Since they actually did wield longer spears in one hand with a shield. But that’s mainly because they had underwent harsh training, and also infants that were chosen to be a Spartan went through an inspection with some kind of council. Mainly to check for any physical defects, even minor ones.

Spartans had hard training, so let us hold longer Spears the higher our level gets? In terms of reality. Seriously though if you want a realistic factor, then look at the 2h Swords…

They could probably fix the problem if they increased the length of the spear models, but not too much.

Then maybe they could make some unique spears that come as drops or from crafting them as a recipe. Those ones could be longer than the normal spear models.

Its something you are carrying using both hands tho.

Ikr, suddenly becoming a Highlander/Barbarian makes you be able to wield something that’s around 388.65-400 pounds. Not to mention to have to balance the length as well while fighting with it, so that you don’t lose your balance or swing too slow to make a good attack.

And don’t forget the fact, that it’s important where the Spear is being held. Longer Spears like these in “300” are mostly held in the middle, so the weight is less of an impact to the arm.

I’m not exactly too buff or weak, but I don’t think you can normally carry those kind of 2h swords (I have a friend who owns a legit 2h sword but it’s only like 7.1b. I don’t know if it’s because of my physical capabilities, but you get pretty tired in around 20-30 minutes experimenting with it.). Like damn I know a guy who can deadlift 400 pounds, but to actually find someone who can swing around something of that weight (Considering the size of the 2h swords in-game. Don’t forget they’re solid metal as well.).? :joy:

Not to mention the character models aren’t particularly looking like they’re able to handle something like that anyway…

Although we can probably stop talking about realistic weapon sizes and weights since this is just a game. lol

Should’ve made when you’re using a 2H sword, you consume more Stamina while considering those facts lol.

I was following your corsair build :frowning: but I didnt like S2 into barb. I seem to do lackluster dmg compared to Swordie into highlander into barb XD

¯_(ツ)_/¯

People usually tell me they like to go into Highlander because of http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/103017/
but then forget that you don’t use a two-handed sword for Corsair.

Or sometimes people don’t go into Higherlander but go for Swordsman C2, but then forget to invest into the attributes for Gung Ho and Concentrate in the future. Gung Ho can have it’s damage bonus increases by +50, and Concentrate by +100 if you invest your time and money… >;D Then people tell me they don’t have the time, I understand that one though.

O.o Atm I’ve like… concentrate and gung ho at 15 each (level 60 rnow). Still doing less dmg than highlander :(. Most likely because imma be a late game beast :D?

Sorry for being off topic btw.

Tbh, most people are saying they feel like they deal less damage is because two-handed weapons have a lot higher physical attack bonus than one-handed weapons. Or either they want to deal most of their damage with skills instead of basic attack focus like Corsair/Fencer/Doppel. Although, they mainly only do basic attacks in between skill cool downs.

Imma pm u so we dont go off topic XD
