If you look my profile you will see I never QQ or rage over subzero shield before and after the nerfâŚsigh
It is what it is man nothing I can do about it,if you got a problem with the changes then contact IMC but donât insult me or rage at me because I didnât ask for those changes nor they I make them.

Meanwhile, there are classes that can 1-shot in pvp and nobody complains about that nearly as much as about being CCed.
How about nerfing those 1-shotters instead of nerfing CC-classes? Getting 1shot is far more unfiar than a few seconds of CC that can easily be prevented.
I donât really see sub-zero shield as that powerful in group pvp, considering in group pvp it is extremely easy to counter.
Frozen is a rank 1 status effect, meaning it can be prevented by any anti-debuff skill in the game:
Cleric: cure,
Pardoner : indulgentia
Oracle : Counter Spell, Prophecy,
Plague doc : Bloodletting, Fumigate, Beakmask.
The fact that the duration of these skills is lower than frozen shields duration doesnât really matter, since the cooldown of most of these anti-CC skills also alot lower. Just get Prophecy once and you will be immune against frozen for 20+ seconds after which tell your oracle to recast it,
Donât Worry Musketeer and Cannoneer 1 shot gimmick will be next lol and perhaps stealth from scout may be nerf as well.
SzS is too strong, but itâs too strong because of the duration of those freezes and lack of dr in the game. A melee only version might as well remove the skill from the game because it wonât be worth investing ten points into. Itâs worthless at a lower level, and cryo doesnât have a problem kiting melee anyway.

Is subzero shield worth it if i want to PVE. Most of the QQ seems to be about PVP.

I was actually saying that it makes sense because of the âwhy would I freeze if I was never close to the iceâ thing. Nothing relevant to uhh⌠gameplay? or something lol

No not really lol.
No one actually uses SzS for PVE unless for cool effects. The only scenario that I can think of is if you are trying to run away from a mob. Freezing isnât an excuse since you have [Ice Pike] for that.
the ice thing is not the problem, the damage it deals is. the moment you realize that cryo 3 shield can kill you faster with those is kinda awkward. like even if doppel has dispeller scoll? so what, he just kills himself faster that way with cyclone since it is guaranteed that cryo 3 will have more hp than dops.
