I tried to find out how to fix this problem but it hasn’t any topic talk about this.
When I opened ToS client, it couldn’t update and respond a follow message. Although my friends can play, I can’t do anything.
I tried to re-download ToS too, but it couldn’t change anything.
Please help me to fix this problem, thanks a lot!

BTT: @einzweidrei2 so this is happening while updating/installing your kTOS client? or do you try downloading it via steam right now?

I had this, go on the game folder (TreeofSavior\Release) remove all the files inside the folder tempfiles (remove the content, not the folder) if there is any dump file on the Release folder, delete them and try again. If anything, try to verify the game integrity on Steam, but i think it wont be necessary.
I was having errors on the patcher after this i could reach the Main screen.

I turned off my firewall then it was happened another problem. But this problem had the guide to fix it.

I have a similar error and not even removing the anti virus stop the pop up

I was having the same problem, after i removed the files it worked fine, i am trying to remember if i removed any additional file.
On the other hand, my patcher is messed up:
had the same problem earlier, then after a few hours tried it again and…
i guess you just try and try til you succeed 
I was geting the same as DrRm and then i tried again and it open but also with a cmd window lol
That command window is from the dev client, they will probably change it to the final client when they finish tuning up the server.
