The spawn rates in the later zones are absolutely atrocious. I just spent nearly 30 minutes doing a kill quest to kill 20 monsters. Yes, 20 monsters. This game is about grinding and killing things, how the hell do I do that when there is consistently, for SEVERAL minutes, nothing to kill. The fact that I can alt tab and do other things for 5+ minutes and come back to an empty screen is unacceptable. Fix this, revert it to icbt2 spawns or find an in-between. This is a sham.

I just had someone not knowing how to do the quest kept killing the mobs around us when you had to lower the monster to 50% and interact with the quest target. It was extra hell just because it took the monsters so long to respawn.
Revert to ICBT2, was soooo much better
Supposedly due to people haveing to queue to enter the game (and their endless whining) IMC implemented a zone wide respawn timer, its 2 mins for non-elites/mini bosses and 5 mins for bosses/elites/minibosses. Most minibosses/elites have a 60s respawn, but with the server atm they take 5 minutes and everything that is in their spawn point has to be dead or else it won’t pop until the next 5 min check is done. This is why you’ll notice HUGE waves of normal monsters every 2 minutes, since they are queued to spawn every 2 mins. The only maps not set like this IIRC are the very first zone you start in at Kleipeda and Orsha. Someone on reddit ctually checked the game files and found out the spawns are normal in them, but yeah they imposed a hard zone spawn rule that override’s the indivual ones.
So blame the people who couldn’t stand waiting 5-10 mins to get in for the current spawn rates.
