Please fix penguin food , it sucks ! And is way too expensive

Why is the penguin companion food so expensive and useless ?? … I mean it cost 5k and gives crap stamina , like 10-15 , and the food for the other companions is way cheaper and gives 60 stamina … Wtf imc , i get it that is a premium pet , but dude atleast make the food give more stamina , i wouldn’t care to pay 5k for each sardine if the stamina that gives were like the others u-u

Agree! Even when it costs 5k per piece, it should give at least 60 stamina or so. :unamused:

I don’t agree.

Most people bought the penguin from the first day ; the first hours after the patch, as crazys without thinking of the consequences that would buy them food spending.

why dont u just use ur Free TP to buy premium sardine. It’s only 3TP which is affordable by FreeTP and fill upto 600 stamina = 10 hours last unless u left it die somehow…

I agree with you except we need some fixes regarding mounting which I think is where the real issue is (or honestly, the complete stamina drain on death).

I have a cata and the only time it’s worth feeding my penguin is for him so he can get the stats. I use the penguin on my non mount characters to run around faster but that’s it. On my cata, I actually have some long term use for the penguin. The issue is, we’ll run into a situation where you switch channels. All of a sudden, your unmounted and your penguin is mobbed and is killed in a matter of seconds (usually by the time you load into the game). Now my penguin just lost all his stamina because I switched channels and got unmounted.

To make sure mounting persists through channel switch would be great, but the easiest fix, in my opinion, is not to change the price or stamina granted by food, it’s to make your penguin (and other mounts) keep their stamina through death.

It’s even worst for Hunters. XD

But yeah, I agree with this. Even just making mounted status persist when changing channels or maps.

Stamina draining is logical since IRL living things really don’t have stamina when they’re dead or have ridiculously poor health. We’re lucky pets don’t completely die or something that we have to go into this NPC to have it revived or use another item to resurrect it.

I’d also agree to just make the NPC sardine give 60 stamina like all others, albeit the price.
